Hi, thank you for bringing this to our attention and sharing your feedback with us.

We are so sorry to hear about the peeling issues you're experiencing with your Bentgo MicroSteel Lunch Box. This is certainly not the quality standard we aim for, and we completely understand how frustrating it is to have coating transfer onto your other dishes in the dishwasher. To help preserve the finish and extend the life of MicroSteel products, we recommend hand washing the outer container with mild dish soap and a soft sponge, avoiding harsh abrasives or high-heat dishwasher sanitizing cycles.

We would love to make this right for you. Please reach out to our customer support team directly at support@bentgo.com or call us at 657-275-3738 so we can look into your purchase and send you a replacement.

Thank you,
Jessica
Bentgo Support

Hello Joel, Thank you for letting us know about the difficulty you experienced with your Bentgo MicroSteel Lunch Box. We understand how frustrating it can be when the lid is difficult to open. Because the container uses an airtight silicone seal to help prevent leaks, trapped air or temperature changes can sometimes create a strong vacuum seal, making the lid difficult to open. When opening the container, we recommend first releasing the silicone air-release valve on top of the lid. Simply pull up on the valve/plug to release the pressure and break the vacuum seal before attempting to open it. If the lid remains difficult to open, briefly running warm water around the outer edge of the lid may help loosen the silicone seal. If you’re still having trouble, please feel free to contact us at support@bentgo.com or 657-275-3738, along with your order details, and we’ll be happy to assist you further. We want to make sure your lunch box works perfectly for you. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention, Joel, and we're here to assist if you ever need help. Thank you, Jessica Bentgo Customer Support
