Why the alcohol?

Overall, I like your cream when my skin is not irritated as it was recommended by my dermatologist for the neurodermatitis on my ankles, but WHY do you put alcohol in this cream?? All it does is burn the crap out of my already irritated skin almost every time I try to use it! It HURTS!! I need something without alcohol in it. Do you make a cream without alcohol???

Doesn’t help eczema

I’ve used this lotion for five years and it was amazing while I needed it. Unfortunately, it did not help the severe case of eczema I have on my face. In fact, it made it worse. While it works on regular skin amazingly, I do not recommend it if you have eczema.

Blue Lid formula needs to come back

I used to use and LOVE Cetaphil ‘s old formula that came in a blue lid jar. It was AMAZING! Better than any other expensive and high end cremes at luxury department stores. I turned so many people on to it and we all stopped buying it since the green lip formula has replaced it. The old formula was great for the face especially for dry, sensitive skin. This new formula is so greasy that I cannot use on my face anymore. I’ve tried all other Cetaphil facial moisturizers (day/night, with/without SPF) and NONE compares to the blue lid formula. Bring it back! Your customers will come back too!

I have very dry (body) skin, especially on my legs and arms, and especially during winter. This cream absorbs quickly and gives my skin the moisture it needs. This cream is super rich so apply it where you really need the extra moisture. I just like that it doesn’t make me feel greasy or sticky at all. Just be aware this product contains Peg-30 which I believe some people try to avoid. But overall a great product.

I tried to incorporate this into my skincare routine, but I couldn't get over how it made my skin feel super greasy and a weird residue feeling right after. I remember applying this to my hands to help my cracked cuticles and dry hands near my knuckles. After several moments my hands felt dirty even though I had done nothing. I eventually ended up washing my hands because I couldn't handle the feeling this lotion gave me. Reason I gave it 2 stars is because this is a great moisturizer for those seeking something for their skin that is hypo allergic. I tried this on my face and it made it feel super greasy just as my hands. I eventually couldn't use this anymore.

Good, but not good enough

I have been using both the moisturizing cream and moisturizing cream “body” for several years. Lately when I send for the “body” one they sent the one that is newly.formulated. I miss the “body” one because it was much lighter on my face. I didn’t realize that you are now only producing one.

This cream definitely works but I'm not really a fan of the smell. It does make you soft but it also unfortunately leaves a bit of an oily feel afterwards, at least on my skin. If you can tolerate that then this is definitely for you and yes I give it a 4 star rating but I probably wouldn't go out and buy it myself.

Zero issues

As someone with sensitive, dry skin prone to eczema, I really loved this moisturizing cream. I used this in conjunction with the Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser and the Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion which could both be used on the face and on the body. I used this one strictly on my body on the parts that needed slightly more hydration. The cream is a heavier moisturizer (compared to the moisturizing lotion) due to having sweet almond oil which is a magic ingredient for people with dry skin. Perfect for those winter days. As someone who is sensitive to fragrance, I love that this also smelled like absolutely nothing.

Value for your money

Cetaphil moisturizing cream is great for my dry sensitive skin, it helps to hydrate it during the winter month as well as summer. It’s thicker in texture and better than lotion. It leaves your skin smooth, no more grayish ashy looks. It doesn’t have the scent and it last a long time. It’s the right price for what you get. Definitely will buy it again

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

I recently used Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream, and it’s an excellent option for intense hydration, especially for dry and sensitive skin. The rich, non-greasy formula absorbs well and provides long-lasting moisture. I appreciate that it’s fragrance-free, gentle, and doesn’t clog pores, leaving my skin feeling soft, smooth, and nourished. Perfect for tackling very dry areas!
