I've been using the original formula for years. I recently bought the "new and improved" formula and it lead to an allergic reaction; my face turned bright red and was itchy. To make sure I didn't develop a radom new allergy, I used the rest of the original cleanser and didnt have a reaction. I believe this new formula has more stripping agent than the original. Unfortunately, I now need to find a new face wash.

My skin is combination, i am using Cetaphil daily cleanser, combination to oily skin once in a day, but after use i feel my skin is more tight & dry. Moreover I didn’t feel difference that it deep cleansed my skin. It is not working on my skin. My blackheads are there even.

I love Cetaphil products because they are so gentle on your skin which is what I need. I use this soap daily and I especially use it after a good hard workout and my face always feels very fresh and clean. I buy this product all the time as well as their body soap

I personally have sensitive skin and my skin gets easily irritated if I add cleansers or any products that is harsh on the skin due to its ingredients. I love Cetaphil because it's soft on the skin and doesn't irritate your skin if you have sensitive skin. I also like that it's non fragrant and you get a good size bottle for a descent price. The facial cleanser is also good for anyone of any age.

This face wash was the only product I could use when I was having out of control hormonal acne. I was trying all of the expensive face cleansers and I was at my wits end because my face kept breaking out! With this cleanser it calmed the redness and I could really notice the difference in the way my face felt! My skin is sensitive and at the time was oily and acne prone. I am also sensitive to perfumes, I'll get migraines easily. Not with this cleanser though. There are no harsh smells. I love that this cleanser comes in different sizes. I still use it when I travel and when I want a gentle cleanser. If your skin is not oily it may leave your skin thirsty.

I can't say enough about this cleanser! It's very effective at getting all of the dirt off your skin and it leaves your face feeling amazing! I've perched this product multiple times and will continue to do so! I'm so happy to have a face wash with in a reasonable price point that tell gets the job done!

I have combination skin. After use for 3 month I have: oily T-zone, zits (before it was rare) and black black-heads. Didn't feel 'deep cleaning', more over my skin after cleaning becomes dry and tight. Used twice a day, daily with hydrating lotion and night cream. I am 23 y.o

I was using this product as part of my daily routine, until I tried a different one. This one is very harsh on the skin. I used it a couple of days for being to lazy to get my new soap and this one being handy and I got so much acne from it that I had to stop using it and adhere to my new vegan routine. Is your skin is sensitive a would not encourage you to use this one. Go for a more natural o e!

My dermatologist recommended this product after I was experiencing breakouts. It is mild and fragrance free but leaves my face feeling clean and fresh after using. Now about a month of using I am seeing my skin clearing and I have experienced no drying unlike other facial cleansers I have used. My teenage son is also using this product and I am seeing his acne disappearing also. I recommend others to give it a try.
