It's very mild on my face.  It doesn't leave a residue.  It doesn't cause breakouts and it doesn't leave my skin overly dry.  

I have using the cleanser and lotion for about 3 years and now and it makes my face care extremely easy. Probably my favorite brand so far!

Works great for normal to oily and sensitive skin. One honest thing to note — if you wear heavy makeup or sunscreen you’ll want to double cleanse because it won’t remove everything on its own. But as an everyday face wash morning and night it’s reliable, affordable and dermatologist trusted for a reason. Nothing fancy, just solid.
