I use this wash to clean my face of makeup and the dirty stuff. Its gentle and accommodates all skin types. My Dermatologist always tells me that you don't want to over wash your face. Cetaphil is perfect because it is so simple and yet does the job. You can get it at almost all local stores without having to break the bank.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been testing this cleanser daily for about a month and for some reason, I'm still not sure how I feel about this cleanser. Some days I love it and some days I don't care for it. The actual texture of the cleanser is clear and thin and is pretty gentle when washing the face but feels a little dehydrated when the skin dries. I will say that once you put on a moisturizer, it makes your face look radiant and moisturized. After using this for several weeks, I've noticed that when you pair this cleanser with another cleanser and double cleanse, your face feels better after washing. It is definitely a good starter cleanser but I just feel that I have a love/ hate relationship with it simply because some days, I feel that it leaves a weird sensation on the skin and can strip it. I'm usually not a person who has issues with fragrances in skincare products, however, I think this one is so overpowering that it causes irritation on some days. My recommendation is to use a thick and heavy moisturizer to seal the deal and then you should be fine.

This is a good basic daily cleanser, it’s not too harsh or anything but it does have a lot of fragrance in it that can irritate your skin. I did expect it to be fragrance free since it is “dermatologist recommend” but it has a really high amount. It’s not bad though, leaves my face feeling clean, not pricey, good value.

This product has helped me out from break outs, it does work really well. My skin is oily and this doesn’t help with it but it does keep my skin looking good and it was a gentle product. I would definitely recommend this product to many other people.

The old Daily Facial Cleanser totally changed my skin for the better. I never had breakouts and my skin was so smooth and even. The new formula is terrible! My skin is so dry and feels tight. I'm breaking out in several different areas. I'm so disappointed. I'll never understand why companies do this....they have something great and then decide to "improve" it. Which rarely works. Hopefully the generic brands keep the old formula, because that is what I'll be switching to.

It contains sodium lauryl sulfate which I am allergic to. I used it for years before it became a noticeable problem so I wonder if they changed their ingredients within the last year or so. Otherwise I assume it works okay. It takes permanent marker off the skin great.

Great for removing harsh makeup. I’ve seen a real difference after the first few uses with my acne and all. It does however leave my face feeling a little heavy and sometimes my t zone starts acting out and becoming super oily... but, nonetheless a great product

This product is so good! I’ve tried the one for all skin types but the one for oily skin has worked the best for me. I can really feel this product cleaning my skin. Removed all dirt and makeup completely! It has a pump which is good. Not only is this product amazing but it is very affordable! I recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive facial cleanser!!

I absolutely love this product, it feels great and doesn’t leave your skin dry or tight. It really cleanses and removes dirt and grime, although it is one of the cheaper facial washes it makes it even better because I’m not giving an arm and leg for something Im gonna wash down the drain. Totally worth the money and lasts forever, I also love the pump for easy application, also great at removing face mask residue!

I have just started using this cleanser because i suffer with dry skin, and it is a smooth thin layer of product it isn't a gel but it feels like a smooth consistency but it feels almost like nothing is on my face, it hasn't burn my skin yet and it is easy to remove from my skin. and feels refreshing.
