It was recommend because of my sensitive skin. I really like that it takes away the grease and little make that I wear with a very small amount. I typically use it to wash my face in the morning and evening. It is a liquid gel so if you are looking for a deep microbead cleanser I would not recommend it. It has a nice scent. Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser is formulated not to irritate or overly dry your facial skin. It's also non-comedogenic, so it won't clog your pores. That makes it suitable for normal, oily or combination skin, even appropriate for acne-prone skin, rosacea and other compromised skin conditions.

Very Mild cleanser I like that my skin is so clean and not a tight dry feeling afterwards.I love This line of skincare it's very pleasant on sensitive skin like mines and causes no irritation highly recommend.This is a must have in my skin care items!

I give this 2 stars because it's just a plain facial cleanser to me. It isn't bad but it also isn't special. Since I first started using this about a month ago, I haven't noticed anything different with my skin. I just know that it does what it has to do which is cleanse your face and that about it.

I swear by this product...it always leaves my skin soft and cleansed while being gentle and non-drying. I used to have awful, oily skin in high school, and I was recommended this product for the gentleness of the wash...my skin problems pretty much went away after a few weeks of use. It is the only wash I'll use!

I like my facial cleansers very basic and have used Cetaphil on and off for years. Not crazy about the consistency (as I prefer foaming but know that it is drying and am trying to move away from those cleansers). It's a good standard to have in your kit and nice that you can always find it at the drugstore when you're traveling. Also gentle enough for younger skin, so bonus points for being able to share within the family.

This facial cleanser is a great everyday soap. It's really gentle but does clean my skin. It can sometimes make my skin feel a little rubbery and dry though. I wouldn't recommend if you already have pretty dry skin, it might make it worse. A more hydrating formula would be awesome.

I tested out this cleanser for 2 months. I would say this cleanser was just ok for a regular face cleanser (non-makeup days). Unfortunately, I found this product didn't tackle my makeup removal and cleansing needs. It left a waxy film on my face and my skin showed signs of increased congested . Perhaps because of the lack of ability to remove makeup after a double cleanse? Perhaps, it was the heavy petroleum after cleansing feeling left on my face? Either way, I believe this cleanser would be a perfect match for small pores without many needs.

This is a great cleanser to just simply cleanse your face with no irritating or drying ingredients. It leaves your face feeling nice and clean with even just a little bit of product. I have acne and skin that can break out easily and this hasn't cause that. Definitely recommend!

This is a classic for a reason. This product is a great value and comes in a large size. Leaves for skin feeling clean without feeling too tight or leaving any kind of soapy residue. Perfect for sensitive skin. A basic product that fits all of your needs.

This is a great alternative for a person with combination skin. It doesn't make your face dry and there isn't a scent for those who have sensitive skin. I try my best to wash my face twice a day (morning and right before bed). Would definitely recommend this.
