I trusted the other positive reviews on this site for this mower, and I have not been disappointed! This mower has all of the features I was looking for in a push mower, and then some. It starts up on the first pull (after pushing the priming button) every time. The side chute is great for scattering the clippings, if you don't like to bag, and the rear bag is great, if you don't like clippings in your yard. With proper care, I think this mower will last a long time. Highly recommended!

The engine is a Briggs and Stratton 500 series 140cc power, 4 stroke motor. The oil comes with it but, to the bottom fill line, not the top. The instructions are, do not use economy gas. I always use premium and my lawnmowers last 6-8 years with NO repairs. Change the oil yearly, without fail, and in this case, use 4-stroke oil, which is a little thicker. Came out of the box intuitively and took me 5 minutes to get it up and running, including gas and oil. Intelligently boxed to save me stupid extra steps, which I hate. The blade is unlocked and ready to cut. It is a sharp blade but, these need sharpening or replacing every two years. It´s cheap, quick and will save your back from a dull blade having to go over and over a section.

My husband loves this lawn mower. He says it's easy to use and doing the yard a breeze.

Works well but the handle bar doesn’t do well on up hills. The joints are weak because of the space saving bar fold. Mine bent at the joint.

Not self propelled

Love this mower. I tested it like a borrowed mule. i chopped trees, brush and everything else you could imagine. It is mean.
