The calorie to protein ratio is also weird for a costlier brand like kind. Why would I not just got for barebells at that point.

I wanted to love this because I love kind bars, but this one didn't do it for me. I don't know if the quality of mine was affected by the heat during shipping but it had a weird alcohol flavor. It's dry and bland as well. This needed something to combat the dryness and boost the flavor. I didn't dat the bar all at once. I've tried bites over the course of several days at different intervals and it tastes the same each time, unfortunately.

Most protein bars I’ve tried have a smooth nougat-y texture but I prefer the texture of this protein bar. I love the flavor- it has the perfect balance of salty and sweet. I can't really say the chocolate OR the peanut butter taste shined through. I did really like the nutrition facts with the exception of chicory root fiber as it causes me gas.
