I bought this for my 8 (almost 9) year old and he loves it. It is the quality you'd expect from Lego. He was able to build it easily and has been playing with it daily since. He's a huge fan of Minecraft and Legos and this has been a great addition to his collection.

The kids love the minecraft theme. There is always some function so its very interactive and it comes with a few mini figs which is a plus. This is also one of the mid priced ones which is nice for gifting. I am sure the birthday boy will be pleased!

My six year-old loved this set! It's so cool the traps and the moving doors and how much you can use your imagination to play with it. It's been a good purchase!

children 7 %26 9 had no difficulty building this independently %26 kept them engaged un building it for hours.
