My son loved it of course as larger Legos go building it is alot of work and 5 year olds aren’t very patient (with that said I know the age so this is not at all on anyone besides me lol). Overall it’s awesome

My grown-up boy...in other words my husband just loves Legos. What he loves best is the spectacular prices making his hobby totally affordable. As for delivery it arrived earlier than promised date. We will continue to shop at Walmart for ALL the great deals.

I love BB8! It's so cute. Easy to build. I feel is to pricy for the size and amount of pieces. But it looks nice.

I really enjoyed building this set. It’s a great companion to my R2-D2 set. And the best part - NO STICKERS!!!

BB-8 was my very first Star Wars LEGO build and honestly still holds the top spot as my favorite droid. R2-D2 is a very close second, but there’s just something about BB-8’s happy little rolling chaos energy that I adore. I enjoyed every second of this build. It was fun, detailed, relaxing, and one of those sets where you keep stopping just to admire how cleverly LEGO designed certain sections. Watching BB-8 slowly come together piece by piece somehow made the whole thing feel even more charming. The finished build looks amazing on display too. It captures BB-8’s personality so well and somehow manages to look adorable and screen accurate at the same time. Tiny spherical droid radiating pure serotonin from the shelf. This set also officially pushed me deep into the Star Wars LEGO obsession. At this point I’ve fully leaned into it and there’s clearly no going back now. My shelves are slowly transforming into a small but emotionally significant section of the galaxy far, far away. Overall, absolutely loved this build and it still has a special place for me as the set that started the Star Wars LEGO addiction.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited for this build to come. We have built many Star Wars Lego sets and love them all. BB-8 is such a cute little droid and we couldn't wait to set it up next to R2. The instructions were clear and it was super easy to put together. The wheel works just like it should and BB-8's head turns when it is rolled around. The other detail that I really like is that all the circular parts (except the door that opens) on the outside spin like little Lego fidget spinners. This set can be moved around and gently played with without falling apart. For an ages 10+ Lego set, two 40-somethings had fun putting it together. It is a little more expensive than I would have expected for a build of this size- even with it being a Star Wars set. All in all, it's adorable, fun to build, and we will be probably get our nephew one for Christmas next year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting up this Lego set was fun! Because my entire family are fans of Star Wars, setting this up together was a great, and nice activity for us. I would totally recommend buying one if you enjoy Star Wars.

I was really looking forward to building this set. Unfortunately, I found parts of the build to be frustrating. I also found parts of the exterior design could have been better thought out. The set looks nice once completed, but getting there was more difficult than it needed to be.

I was very excited to add a new Droid to my collection. I also have a Disney made bb8. This set was frustrating and not sturdy at all. As I put the last of it together parts kept falling off. The front panel doesn't slide in seamlessly and looks odd. Not worth the money.

Very cute Lego, but for the price, it should have been larger. Comparing it to my R2D2, which is one of my favorite builds, this is dinky and a bit unsatisfying to build. Even D-0 towers over it. Lego should know that true Star Wars/Lego fans want some meat to our builds. This did not check the box. Still very adorable and looks good on my shelf. Just not worth the price tag.
