Great set!

Love this set. Very fun build, not too hard. My wife mainly did it and was very happy.

Great build and super relaxing and pleasing!

This build was very nice and easy I really enjoyed it and especially seeing how it came together bit by bit. The only detail I didn’t really like as much was the reflection of Mount Fuji as I wish they would’ve put a more detailed temple there instead but overall great experience and a great build!

Love this build

I thoroughly enjoyed building this set. It became addicting to work on and hard to walk away. It is a beautiful piece to work on and it was so much fun to watch it continue to grow as I worked on it. I would highly recommend this set for anyone who loves building Lego sets.

Beautiful

This was an amazing build. Priced about right and came together in typically incredible LEGO fashion. The instructions were clear and I like the recycleable bags. I love the dimensional aspect of this build. This piece really is breathtaking and fits in my space majestically. (The bottom shelf of the bookcase is waiting for my husband’s Museum😉. Husband also built “The Wave” in the left of the picture. I built the rest. Yeah. We’re hooked on LEGOS.)

Beautiful Gift

I have built the Japanese cherry-blossom landscape set twice, once for each daughter. One placed hers on a shelf. The other easily hung it on a wall. Both are thrilled with the beauty and uniqueness of the scene; neither had previously ever seen a Lego picture. I am 94 years old and a beginner Lego builder, but I found them a lot of fun and quite easy to assemble. The instructions are very clear and amazingly the sets come with no parts missing. (How can they package exactly the right number and kind of 2000+ pieces?). I did, however, give the set a rating of 4 rather than 5 because of problems with the foundation and base. When first assembled they seem solidly attached, But the plates do not attach securely to the base and the constant downward pressure of pushing in the bricks eventually cause the center pieces of the base to fall out repeatedly, thereby giving the plates no support. This happened on both sets. I solved the problem by gluing the small areas where the base planks meet each other. I recommend that builders do this before they find during construction that the center has given way.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback! How awesome it is that you're discovering the love for building at 94, welcome to the community! We really value your opinion and will pass it on to our designers. You definitely should never have to use glue to keep your sets together, one tip we could give is to make sure that while you're building, the pieces are pressed tightly together. Great set, impossible to hang

Why why why in the world would anyone decide to design two hook points in the back? Lining up one hooks without being able to view from behind is already difficult, lining up two hooks that has to be perfectly spaced apart is borderline impossible. I'm convinced no one at Lego actually tried to hang this up themselves.

Add some beauty to your day

You can set this beautiful art set on a table, or hang it on your wall. The waterfall that cascades over the bottom edge bends to accomodate a table setting. The frame is a sturdy shadowbox which holds the colorful landscape.

This is my first Lego Art build (my usual is architecture) and I absolutely love it! The colors are amazing and the finished product is absolutely stunning!

Bird is the word

This set is really lovely and displays nicely with Emerald City Wall Art and Claude Monet Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies. The build was good - I would start with the ‘picture’ first and leave the frame for last, but that’s just my preference ( dessert first and all ). My only issue is with the birds… the black crow bars keep falling off the pin parts. Maybe there is some technique to help them stay put, but I have not yet discovered it. Any words for the birds?

Excellent

Thoroughly enjoyed the variety of pieces and visual components of this build. Inspired by an earlier review -- and knowing my intended display wall needed a larger piece -- I ordered two sets and combined them. Unlike the earlier review, I decided to mix up most of the elements for the visual effect I preferred. I usually follow instructions closely and have not done a freehand build before. Challenging, and needed patience, but ultimately a lot of fun. I added a few extra small pieces from my spares stockpile, but almost 98% was what came with the sets. This is a good set to play with if you want to try breaking away from the instructions. Just make sure to secure your backing structures very well! I still hope to adjust the exposed grey line in between the blue mountains, but overall, very pleased.
