Great Cars item

My son is 5 and this was his first independent Lego build. The app with animated instructions definitely makes it easier for kids to build by themselves. Although this is listed as a 9+ build he was able to do about 90% of it without any help. Now we just need Mater to match!

I loved this build. I really enjoyed building the chassis... such a creative and unique approach. Lots of little details coming together to make McQueen come to life. I honestly hope LEGO keeps the Cars theme alive with more from the movie. I'd especially like to see Mack, Doc and Mater. I'd also like to see Snotrod too..."Achoo!"

Lightning McQueen is definitely worth it. The model was fairly easy to put together. It was for my 4 year old and he put the majority of it together on his own. He has also been able to play with it with minimal fall off (mainly the car wing). I don’t like to glue them so if they fall apart, we can rebuild it. Great buy.

A must have for LEGO enthusiasts! The build experience was so much fun. Sure, it has a lot of decals, but I mean, so did Lightening McQueen himself. The decals are great. Take the time to line up the bolts on both sides though. I loved the way the rear window and spoiler came together. The final look, for me, is near flawless. I hope this stays on shelves for a bit so that everyone that wants it can grab one. It will be a very sad day when this one retires.

We Love CARS! Easy to follow directions. Perfect addition to our collection, plus my granddaughter loves to play with it as well. Other than one missing red piece the kit was excellent. Was able to improvise with the spare parts in the set.

Very amazing set, super fun having it under the speed champions line. Only complaint is there is a lot of stickers, although the stickers are fitting considering his nickname in the movies being “stickers”
