I bought this as a 7th birthday gift for my Grand daughter and she loved it. She is great with Legos so it was a bit too easy. She was very pleased with the build and is enjoying playing with the end product

I put this right in front of my Dudley house. It was a cute build to go with my other Harry Potter Lego sets!

The price of this set was competitive with other sites. BUT I find that many of the LEGO products are much more expensive than on other sites.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is awesome! As a huge Harry Potter fan, and extra big fan of Hagrid, I was thrilled to see this set. Assembly was a lot of fun. The instructions made it very clear how to put pieces together, step-by-step. Pieces clicked together nicely and felt secure, but also easy enough to pull apart in case a mistake was made or you want to disassemble/reassemble for fun. I never had a Lego set and this is my first one and now I am hooked! I understand how addictive these can be! I would love to get more of the Harry Potter sets. I placed the finished pieces in my plant cabinet and they make me smile every time I see them. So cute!

So not only have I ever successfully built an entire Lego thing. But I built this in two sittings because I didn't want to stress myself out. I do genuinely believe that they forgot a piece or there is a portion of the directions that are not very clear, but I had the time of my life building this and have already started to browse online for more.
