[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids immediately started building this! We are so impressed with the quality behind this set. They’re about half way through the helicopter but even this life boat they made is so impressive because it’s functional and actually opens. Lego is so reliable and is always a tried and true in our house because it keeps the kids busy but also allows them to express their creativity and use their dexterity. These are so high quality and this set is beautiful! So excited to see the finished helicopter and we will be a Lego family for life!

It took him about 45minutes to complete, as he followed the clear instructions that LEGO offers with every build. The materials were typical LEGO blocks, click in perfectly and build a masterpiece. LEGO always provides reliability with their sets, and power with them in unmatched, in my opinion. This specific set was for 7+ ages, which is understandable, as some parents might find safety concerns around toddlers. Keep out of reach of small children is the moto. Follow the instructions, and enjoy the build time. The finished product is a well made, well built toy that can either be used to display, or can help with hours of play time. Either way, LEGO lovers who love the ocean will appreciate this set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LEGO Coast Guard Helicopter is a great kit. The instructions were easy enough for my 6 year old to follow. The LEGO pieces snapped in nicely. I like how there are sections to work in, so its not a big pile of LEGOs to sort through. There were no missing pieces. The wheels spin and doors can open. I was honestly surprised how fast my 6 year old put it together.

The smaller parts were easier for him to build but the helicopter he needed my help. It’s definitely a fun activity for us to do together. It’s very lightweight but sturdy. All the materials were there with extra pieces.

Finally after waiting for manny years for Lego coast guard to return, we were blessed with this amazing sleek coast guard rescue helicopter that pairs perfectly with the coast guard ship. More Coast Guard Sets Pleaseeeee.

Helicopter looks very great, fits two in the cockpit, has a nice passenger bay. Fun little lifeboat to rescue is included. Best part is ZERO DECALS! Every label and badge is printed onto the bricks taking all of the stress of correctly applying decals out of the building process! I wish some of the Police choppers were so well made. My only complaint is that they put four vent pieces down the center of the passenger bay which makes it difficult to actually stick any figures to the floor. Considering it's Lego though, they can, of course, be removed.

As soon as I saw the bold deep orange color and the chunky Coast Guard font I new this would be a fun set. It did not disappoint, with sliding doors on each side that were easy to build and accents of neon yellow bricks that kids will enjoy. The overall form is great, with smooth curves and a big windshield and a new vehicle seating element that makes it easier to place mini figs in the front seats. The rescue float is great allowing fun play with the included shark and repelling feature for the rescuer on the helicopter. It feels fairly robust and ready to for kids to play with without much frustration. As an adult, it just looks cool and was a simple, yet enjoyable build.
