dried chili and Kraft Mac

first time using it, i gave it a challenge: Rubbermaid with dried chili and stainless steel with dried Kraft Mac. both came out sparkling. remember to run the hot water before your dishwasher.

Unsatisfied results

These leave a chalky substance on all the dishes. I originally thought it was something wrong with my dishwasher. Cleaned the dishwasher and same results.
