I have collected most of the Lego Vehicles like the Lamborghini, Camaro, etc. I was so excited when they announced the Shelby Cobra and now that I have it I wasn’t disappointed. It was a blast to build and the end result was a masterpiece. I highly recommend this set to anyone who wants to complete there collection.

This kit was a Christmas gift for me from my son as this is my favorite car . I am 72 so a magnifying glass was helpful at times to see details. It was very fun to assemble, especially since sometimes you cannot tell what you are building until you finish a section. It is amazing how little square pieces can come together to create something so awesome. Thank you LEGO.

My go-to gift is Legos. This was an expensive purchase for me. I was disappointed in receiving a box with a smashed corner and a little embarrassed giving it as a gift. With that being said, the recipient really enjoyed the build and loved the details and stories throughout the instruction booklet. When the build was complete and they were showing off their build they were able to share the fun facts they learned from the booklet.

... It is quite fragile! You have to handle it carefully to avoid pieces falling off of it. The build was pretty straightforward, but the colors don't work well in the instruction book, making it hard to see. The Builder App worked much better and I recommend using the Builder App to build this. There are a couple of steps that are confusing in the instruction book, but the app helps make things clear because the colors are much better and you can zoom in and rotate the assembly in question to look at it from different views. I have to mention that the kit creatively uses a Lego coffee cup, two Lego spoons, and a lego fork as part of the build. Entertaining! Overall, it is very well done and looks fantastic! Great to display and great for any car enthusiast. Recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have put together several Technic kits and had excellent experience. I found this ICON difficult to build using just the book and "Bricklink's Studio". Of coursr these are only 2D. I should have used "LEGO Builder so I could get 3D views. Once done the kit tends to fall apart as the sub-assemblies are not very well tied to the body. The whole back is now in pieces on my desk. I will use "LEGO Builder" to rebuild the kit once I get past my frustration. I had good luck with the ICON Rivendell kit. I have three "TECHNIC " kits (Bugatti Bolide, McLaren Senna, and Porsche 911) in hand and have always had good luck with TECHNIC kits. After that there are several ICON Cars (McLaren MP 4/4, Chevrolet Camero Z28, and the Back to the future Kit) in mind but am now suspicious about the ICON car kits. Any suggestions on the McLaren Senna GTR?

Overall the car looks good! There are some parts of this that are flimsy such as the windshield area, and the very ft of the hood. Lego could have done better with this. I used the book and the builder app and made it through. The wait for missing parts is very frustrating!! I'm still waiting on a trim piece but it's done!

This is not my first Lego car build and found this one to be very fragile. The whole front end of the car is being held together by 2 hooks clipped on to a bar and can fall off easily. Additionally I received an extra left side trim piece and when requesting a replacement I was asked to provide my passport in order for the piece to leave customs. That seemed very excessive for a single piece and I just kept that trim piece empty as is instead.

First of all, I drove 90 miles to purchase this kit. I was so excited to buy it. I’ve built other kits that were difficult, but, this one is a mind blower. It all went well until , I tried to put the front end to the body. It literally fell apart in my hands, not once, but, twice. All the little parts with one piece connecting to another. The blue bricks and the manual with the grey background made it very difficult to match the prices to the build section. The only good thing was only three stickers to attach. I would consider myself an accomplished builder with 200 plus kits. But, by far this one almost made me get out the glue on some parts. I would not recommend this kit to anyone, especially a beginner. I read other reviews and should have listened. I finished the kit and carefully placed it on the shelf. It reminds me of my experience with the T2 Camper. That was a nightmare, too!!!

The car was a let down, parts didnt line up and the parts would pop loose so easily it was annoying. I even had to crazy glue a few parts so the car could be moved without falling apart.

This is a hot wheels kit in a Lego box. Totally different, inferior quality, not even close
