I normally used the paper booklet instructions but early on I found a picture difficult to understand as it looked like I was missing pieces. Once I went to the digital instructions and could rotate the image, I realized I had the pieces and how to connect them. I will now use the digital all the time! The mechanism worked the first time and the little balls come out easily. After the grandkids get all the minifigures, I plan to fill the balls with candy or other small,items for future fun and continual usage. I love this set because there is action vs just being looked at. It’s a mix of regular legos and technics type for the turning mechanism.

This build was absolutely an awesome mechanical build. Very creative. The instructions were completely on point very easy to follow. The size and the working of it again on point! The only thing I think is for the characters we could’ve done a little bit better job of not having so many duplicates.

This was a quick build, just over an hour. Interesting how the mechanism works that releases the mini balls and it didn't confuse me. Had to assemble all the little figures just to see them before I had to take them apart to get them onto the little balls. Going to talk it up to the other family members that are into Legos. Thanks for a fun build!

This was a fun set to build. There were several nice touches to the construction. But the standout was using some pieces flexibility to butt up against another brick to prevent motion in one direction and flex and snap creating a click sound in the opposite. Little things like that are nice and add a lot more realism to the set.

I was very excited for this one as I loved these machines as a kid when they were around at every store. I was disappointed that there are not enough capsules to visually make it look full. I would even have been happy if there was a separate set you can purchase to add more.

I have to say that this is my all time favorite build. I love that it is a functioning vending machine that requires a coin to be inserted before a minifigure is dispended. Only thing I would suggest is to offer more minifigure balls for sale so we can add even more to it.

Bought this for myself, collect Lego, Love building. Easy to follow instructions, great selection of mini figs, The mechanical design to retrieve the balls containing minifigs is a work of genius, Love getting ideas from the masters for my own builds.

This was my very first time building a Lego set. I did need assistance in building the machine, but it was fun to do! Like many others, would love to have more of the spheres to fill with candy, etc. It works great, and looks exactly like the photos.

Gotta be honest, I primarily bought this set for the new colors of classic space new knight minifigures as Space was my pirmary theme growing up in the 80s and Castle was also and interest. That said, my 10 year old twins are obsessed with vending machines and minifigures in general so I'm busy finding fill ins for the half of the minifigures I pilfered. The mechanics of this thing are awesome and it's overall a very clever build and looks great. I do think it could have been at least $50 cheaper due to the number of parts and fact that it's not a licensed product.

This is a fantastic, technically challenging build. The mechanism is really wonderful and that was the reason I wanted this set. Not so much for the mini figs, but for the vending machine itself. It's been advised in other reviews that attention to detail is a must or it won't work. I only found one stubborn smudge on the clear section, but everything else is great. Highly recommend!
