We followed the instructions on the box to put it in the microwave at 2 1/2 minutes. It did not come out burnt, it came out perfectly. The popcorns were nicely individually wrapped which is great for storage and bringing it on the go. The bag was nicely sealed when unpopped. I would highly recommend this product. Was so excited to receive this as we are big popcorn lovers in my house. One thing I didn't like is the butter was leaking through the bags. It was very wet when removing it from the plastic wrap. I also didn't feel like the popcorn was drenched in butter for how much was on the outside of the packaging. But taste good besides that. Just not what I think of when I think movie theater butter. Easy to use and pops quickly. About 2 mins was perfect.
