The material is great and even when it's cold outside it seems to block the sweat from him getting hot while playing. This is definitely a great brand and we've always bought this brand.

It has smooth knit fabric which is soft and gentle on the skin. It consists of UPF 50+ protection helps protect against the sun when paired with a strong sunblock lotion which is definitely a bonus. I was comfortable working outside in it in 60 degrees without sweating or being too cold. I occasionally use it as an undershirt as well as the March mornings are still pretty chilly here in the Midwest. The bright neon is very catchy and no one will be able to miss me when I’m wearing it.
