Oh WOW! I so hate the milky protein shakes, but really need the protein. Enter the “clear protein” drink. This drink is carbonated, has no sugar and no whey protein powder after taste. Although it comes in multiple flavors Pink Lemonade is my favorite.

I found this protein drink by accident. I am a huge fan of sparkling water and as I was looking through all of the milkshake protein drinks, I spotted this one that said sparkling water and had 30 g of protein and I was intrigued. The only complaint I have is that there aren't more flavors to choose from. It comes in a fruit punch which is good in itself, but I would like to have different flavors to drink. But I won't take away any stars because I think it's very delicious and refreshing and I get my protein, too!! What else would you want...except a variety of flavors to drink!!

These aren’t too bad, considering they are a protein drink. They do have that protein texture, a bit “thicker” than regular sparkling water, but the sparkling water does help. What made my rating low is that they are incredibly, almost sickly, sweet. I will cut the next can in half and use regular seltzer.

This fruit punch drink was surprisingly good! The flavor was really balanced—sweet enough to enjoy but not overpowering or artificial tasting. One of the best parts was the texture; it wasn’t gritty at all like some protein drinks can be. It went down smooth and was easy to drink, whether after a workout or just as a quick pick-me-up. Definitely a solid option if you want something refreshing with protein that actually tastes good.

I’m used to Premier Protein RTD shakes during my workday. Pretty excited to try these. The fruit punch flavor is acceptable, the flavor isn’t off putting to me like when I try energy drinks. But, I’m hooked on the creamy shake flavor for my protein. Other than that it’s plain black coffee, water or unsweet tea for me. Probably won’t buy again.

The taste is similar to the Flintstones chewable multivitamin for kids. There is a thick consistency with the fizziness of the carbonation. I really wanted to try a great clear protein but because of the thickness of the liquid I will not be repurchasing.

We thought this would be a good substitute for protein drinks containing milk because my wife has lactose issues. Turns out that there is milk in this, so she still can't drink it. The flavor is a little funky, but we can tolerate. Won't be buying it again.

This drink was recommended by a friend. Found a three-flavor assortment case at another retailer as at that time could not find at Sam's. I was delighted some days later when I found These single flavor cases at Sam's not only in our favorite flavor but at a significantly reduced price. it was such a good price and the product was/is difficult to find I bought six cases. Upon returning home I placed one case in refrigerator. The next day my wife and I both opened a can and was shocked at the horrible taste. when we tried pouring out, both cans were not a nice sparkling drink we expected but a thick gooey white slime. I then returned this purchase to Sam's for a refund.

This stuff is absolutely horrible. At the end of every sip I have an aftertaste of meat in my mouth. Everyone I have shared a sip with either gags or looks at me as if I am insane to be drinking such swill. It does not even deserve 1 star. I can not stand it and will never buy it again or recommend it to anyone.

I had high hopes for these. Chilled and tried my first. There is an off taste, and I finally figured it was like beef fat or bone marrow. Not what I want in fruit punch. I've had a couple friends try them, and they thought the same. Turns out it's from Bovine Collagen Peptides in the ingredients. I'll need to toss these out.
