I did have a little trouble with the first use because I didn't realize the blender's LID needed to line up with the blender jar handle, but once I figured that out it was super-easy and beautiful. I've been using this blender nonstop since I've gotten it. I love how well it makes everything, from smoothies to more smoothies, the way the blade can break down frozen or hard foods and make everything smooth is awesome! I've made hummus, and pesto sauces in this blender and it's done a great job. Love the sleek look of it and I want to keep it out on my counter top. It's a great quality blender!

I love how this blender looks on my counter top with how modern and sleek it is. I make smoothies for my daughter in this almost everyday and it blends up frozen fruit to a smooth consistency super quick and much quieter than my last blender. I also love the self cleaning mode where I put some warm water and a little dish soap and I'm able to walk away to come back to a clean blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The programs are easy to use. We mainly use this for smoothies we use the other functions less, but the cleaning function has been really easy. The way that the blade is attached, there is no seam for food to get in and make mold. I do agree with some of the other reviews that the mechanism for activating the blender is not designed well, as the handle is clear and you will Be unable to remove anything that gets into the channel. I do not plan to put the container in the dishwasher to avoid this.

As a mechanical engineer, I look to buy one nice product and never need a new one. This blender is exactly that. The smoothie function is even programmed to increase and decrease speeds to make sure it is blended correctly. Great product! Now I need to get the smaller one too.

This blender does it all and looks beautiful in the process. Unlike other bulky blenders this is one I don't mind leaving on my counter. The pre-programmed settings make things like smoothies a breeze...you just set and start and it goes through all the speeds to blend and crush to perfection. I'm actually making home made tomato soup as I write this...it comes out smooth and hot. I love the self cleaning feature and it even has a safety feature that the blender will not start unless the lid is on properly. All the bells and whistles at an amazing price.

The blender is great, but I still have not found a way to get food from inside the handle. Goes in the dishwasher fine, but the food getting stuck in the handle is disgusting. Paid a lot of money for this and I wish there was a way for it to look as nice as it looked before I used it for the first time.
