I’ve used a variety of different brands of dry shampoo over the years, but this is by far my favorite. Other dry shampoos make my hair tangled and give it a dry, brittle texture. I have used them anyway because it’s better than looking greasy. With this MONDAY brand, my hair stays smooth and soft. There are zero tangles when I brush it at the end of the day and it feels soft like I just washed my hair. I also love the gardenia scent. I really hope Sam’s Club continues to sell this brand!

However, as a brunette, the white powder was so hard to blend away and even then still gave a white overcast. Just maybe a future change in shade would do great:)

I like the sent it kinda smells like the pink bottle of baby lotion to me, a clean light sent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BRUTALLY HER, BRUTALLY HONEST: Packaging: 8/10 Cuuuuute simple pink bottle, it's basically designed to have it's picture taken. I sort of find the white hard to read on the shade of pink though! Scent: 6/10 I am personally not a fan of the scent. It's very powdery and has a hint of floral. It does linger for a while so it is long lasting. Not much to say. Could be a hit or miss but it's entirely on preference. Performance & Oil Control: 7/10 Absorbs oil pretty quickly and gives hair a refreshed look without too much buildup. That said, you do need to massage/brush it in well, especially if you have medium to dark hair, or you’ll get a faint white haze. It’s not chalky, just very fine. Adds a little volume at the roots, but nothing dramatic. Texture & Feel: The powder is lightweight and doesn’t make my hair feel gritty or stiff which is a huge plus. It doesn’t leave a sticky film like some drugstore dry shampoos. However, after 6+ hours, I start to feel like I want to wash my hair anyway. It’s more of a temporary refresh than a full reset. Scalp Friendliness: 8/10 There isn't any noticable itching, flakes, or no weird residue buildup. But if you’re super sensitive, maybe patch test first. It has alcohol and fragrance like most dry shampoos. Overall Rating: 7/10 • Pros: Aesthetic packaging, nice scent, lightweight feel, decent oil absorption • Cons: Not the strongest oil control, can leave a white cast, nozzle sprays heavily It’s cute, long lasting, and works fine, just don’t expect miracles. I’d repurchase if it’s on sale, but I wouldn’t rely on it as my only dry shampoo. xoxo brutal

Do not use if brunette. Leaves a horrible white residue on hair. Brown hair looks gray.
