I got the slim digital PS5 on sale black Friday $374.00 and I got some credit back which made it worth getting for the bedroom. It includes one controller, and one HDMI cable. It was delivered when I was home. I have a bigger PS5 with disc player in the living room for two years and it continues to work great. I've been playing the new PS5 slim for a while now and it's working great. I have played several digital games, and they play great. In the future I can get a disc player for it if needed. The PS5 has an app for remote play that allows me to connect to my PS5 in the living room to play disc games on the digital PS5 in the bedroom. Also works with the PS4. I have a 5TB HDD external hard drive plugged into the PS5 and it's working great and can store a lot of games and play PS4 games. I also have a 1TB SSD internal PS5 hard drive, I plugged it in with a heat sink and it's working great and fast. Hopefully the PS5 slim will last many years.

They left it on my neighbors porch! Which clearly wasn’t my address! Luckily my neighbor knows me and brought it to my house. And if my neighbor didn’t know me they would have been souped up getting a free PlayStation 5. This is the second time it happened! Very disappointing

I got the PS5 Slim due to me moving into a new place that was limited in space. I couldn't take my PC with me due limited desk/room space. With the trend to go digital in all things, I figured I wouldn't miss not having a disc drive. Plus, I didn't want to travel with a bunch of discs. There is not a thing I don't like about this console. I bought it at a nice discount that fit my budget. I know this isn't a technical review but I just want to say that you can't go wrong with a disc-less system.

amazing console games run flawless SSD is incredible the digital verison is perfectly fine if you can only afford it but easily upgradable to have the disc drive which i did , 4k an 120htz is supportied by every game pretty much as long as your tv is up to spec , the leap from ps4 to ps5 cant even be put into words how supieor ps5 is . complete ps4 backlog support aswell and amazing ps5 only games like silent hill 2 and demon souls MUST OWN hands down the best way to play over anywhere else , controller has built in mic for gamechat so headsets arent needed for chat but would still recommended a headset for footstep audio etc for intense fast pace MP games (warzone,cod,siege) the streaming features and ability to edit videos and directly upload to youtube is my favorite i run my whole youtube channel directly from my ps5 console @CRnocommentary on youtube all call of duty game play . but yeah go playstation 5 , xbox just aint it gamepass is cool but most people are on playstation friend wise

Bought in September of this year. Madden would freeze somewhat regularly so I contacted Sony about a possible refund for just the game. Black Ops 6 would occasdionally freeze but it wasn't a big deal. Everything else ran great. Sony had me wipe the cache and rebuild the database which didn't help, they had me restore the console storage which didn't help and then had me do a full manufacturer default. It made the problems infinitely worse. All of my games freeze and crash now a few minutes after opening them. Now I'm sending it off to Sony because they said its something with the console itself and it needs to be repaired. Never got my refund for Madden, 2 of the 4 reps I spoke to were just flat out rude. So yeah, busted console after 3 months of limited play and over $200 in games I can't even play plus one defective game that I won't be reimbursed for. Maybe look into Xbox, wish I had and still may.

i tried syncing the controller to the game: RE4 but controller does not work. i also tried deleting/removing/ and even resetting the controller on the spot in-game and in settings. not registered. but the controllers working when setting the boundaries. but when you play just about any other game. the controller will fail. ive also manage to test this on RE Village...no go...same problem. VR headset works however.

I love it because how convenient it is for me. I have a small room and this is better than the actual ps5 the bigger one. I love the slim one and how it came with a stand. Overall I just love it especially when the deal of the price had gone to like 375? So around 400.. IT’S A STEAL :))

Got this for my grandsons for Christmas. They were very surprised and very happy. They've been playing non stop and I'm sure will play it for a long time to come. There are many games available for the PS5 and it's something they'll never outgrow.

Now this goes for all consoles when you switch. Unless you had a PlayStation Account in the past WITH games your gonna have no games. So when you buy this make sure to get a game. Besides that good console. Compared to the OG PS5 it’s way smaller but runs the same. Way more compact and good for a small desk.
