What can I say, If you want the best console available today, this is it. I prefer the one with the disc drive for game availability and ability to use any disc, new, used, rental, etc... There is not enough advantages f9r the Pro Model over this to justify the exuberant price difference. Overall, the best machine for the money, I would definitely buy new vs. used.

Bought it for myself so I can keep up with brain actions for later in life. Plus I didn't have anything but Atari when it first came out and nothing since. Great price and Keeps me sharp. Plus it is fun. Helps to stay connected to my son that had all of boxes growing up. Definitely reccomend the PS 5, 5 disc unit.

The smaller form factor and extra bit of storage is really nice. ALSO can I mention how easy the small acrylic feet keep the console in place? that original black disc thing was always slipping off. Now I gotta test how easy it is to install a new ssd but overall it's what you expect. a smaller more convenient ps5 with a disc drive! Not many people see the value in disc drives but I do. I have more than just physical games I have dvds and blurays. The reason the ps2 was the best bargain of the 2000s was that it allowed a family to play games together and watch movies. Netflix and other apps on the console is a nice bonus! I hope Sony continues supporting discs especially with gen z's physical media hype wave recently of buying more disc based media. Not trying to be a snob here I just think both streaming and discs should coexist to make PlayStation the definitive home console platform. My only critique of the console is that you have to pay a fee to play online with friends I hope this can eventually change because that's one thing the pc platform has going for it is if I'm already paying for my provider why do I need to pay for online? I think the plus benefits should be seperate. Overall great console with a strong 3rd party library that has potential to be tweaked to really make it a perfect experience

Bought it for my son for his birthday. He was so thrilled and happy. He enjoys it very much. Was definitely worth the purchase to see a smile on his face.

Great system! Really fast load times, only concern is controller has some real pinpoint accuracy, over time I see having to buy a few more, just because I feel they will wear out and drifting will occur. Otherwise solid system

I've has my PS5 for less than a week now. So far I'm enjoying it. I haven't had a console since PS3 so, it's nice to be gaming again. The only real gripe I have is, some games, like Call of Duty need an Internet connection. Even for single player campaign. I currently don't have home Internet so, I i'm limited on what games I can play. Other than that, it's a fantastic console.

Works great, got the PS5 in one day from Walmart. I sold my Digital PS5 and bought this because I wanted the option to watch DVDs and play my old disc PS4 games I have. I had the extra SSD card upgrade in my old PS5, I placed it into this one and all my games were still on it too so I didn't have to format for this new PS5, the upgrading is very easy for anyone considering adding more space in the future. I was done in about 3 minutes tops, it's a bit faster than the Digital version to upgrade. So far I like the smaller size, it runs perfect might actually run a bit cooler than the fat PS5. My old one went five years without a problem before I sold it I don't foresee me having any issues with this one either. These are great systems to purchase, take it from someone who's owned one since 2020.

I’ve had the previous PS5 consoles in the past and ran into some financial issues later on is why I sold my last one, only difference with this model is it doesn’t have the glassy shine the the original’s had in the front. It’s all plastic just for future heads up if you do buy this model. One feature I didn’t care for.

Not much you can say about this. Erks me that we all fall for this crap. Both Xbox and Playstation are such a scam. You pay $400 for the console but then you have to buy the games and pay for a subscription... But what can you do. It's what the kiddo asked for as his Christmas gift and every other kid has one of these or an Xbox.
