This blanket is the perfect size to keep on the back of our couch. It’s a good weight for when you need a little extra warmth but not too bulky. Colors stay bright even after a few washes. It’s not as soft as I thought it would be but still a great blanket.

I love this blanket! It is the perfect blanket for cold and a/c weather. The weight of the blanket is wonderful because it actually has some weight to it. The blanket has a nice texture to it, as well. It comes with a weird smell, but washes out easily. The color was accurate. The purple is more of a warm purple color. Keep away from kids and pets, because you can pull the yarn.

I was very impressed by the quality of this throw. It is soft and slightly thick, but breathable, which will make it perfect for fall and spring evenings. This will look great in your living room or on the end of your bed. I haven’t washed the throw yet, but it appears to be very durable. Overall, this is a beautiful throw at a great price. I love that this is an organic cotton throw, it's nice and heavy, the purple color is a bit muted, but otherwise the throw is heavy and feels comfortable. It's quite large for a throw and covers my legs as I am tall, 5'10", which I love. I gave it four stars because I don't prefer the knit pattern, otherwise it's great!

The throw is good - it has good warmth - while I usually prefer cotton over synthetic cloth, in this case - unfortunately my observations were not too good (or may be I am missing something here). In any case - I found the throw to be heavier than I expected. The texture is not smooth - perhaps to be expected from cotton but still not something I would be comfortable with especially as compared to a more smooth textured throw that I have purchased from Sams in the past. The color is nice though.
