Nice but no directions to put it together

Beautiful light, but doesn't work properly. Light does not come on unless completely covering up the solar panel 90% or more. It will not come on just turning it on unless the light is covered even after charging for greater than 24h. Bottom section of the pole the screw hole is drilled too large and so it won't tighten down. Called Sam's as it says in the package and they said to return it as they don't have any replacement parts currently.
