I think Woody Sage is an accurate description, although I'd add that it's a little fruity too. I don't know what the original smells like, but I really like this one!

This perfume really smells like the real thing! Its smells like being on a beach house/nice summer breeze, smells fresh without strong annoying citrus scent. If you like the Jo Malone version,this is a great alternative!

Love this scent - I have never had a scent that is somewhat masculine but still works for me. This one has a tad bit of a 'sea salty' fragrance (not sweat, don't get it twisted) if that even makes sense - not overpowering at all, perfect blend

I have both the Jo Malone version and Dossier version of this and they are nearly identical. The Dossier one is actually better IMO as it last longer on my skin and has better projection!

I took a stab in the dark with this one as Id never smelled its more expensive twin. Honestly, I cant get enough. Ill definitely be buying more of this and trying out their other scents!

Manly "fruity" scent the fig and the wood smell mix so well together to make one of the best colognes ive ever used. if your going to get a single one on here to try out GET THIS ONE !!!!

I was hesitating about dossier. But Im impressed! Ive received many compliments about this scent, love how smells when it dries on my skin. I recommend it

Everyone in my family loved this scent, but it wouldn't last dor more than 30 min on any of us. I have read reviews that say it works great on some people. Would definitely recommend the smell if you want to try it out

Very fresh and subtle scent thats good for everyday! The lasting power is lacking. But apparently thats common of the OG woodsage and sea salt fragrance. So I would still say this is an okay route to take.

Having actually bought the Jo Malone version of this perfume previously, I'm so glad i never have to waste money like that again. This perfume smells so wonderful and identical to the expensive version. 10/10.
