Love the scent and I get compliments within the first 10 minutes of spraying it on, then it dies. No lasting power at all. I have to take it with me and spray it every 30 minutes. I can't even use a travel sprayer because of the design of the bottle, it doesn't work to fill up a smaller atomizer.

I'm not familiar with the real BR 540 so I cannot attest to the comparison, but this stuff is AWESOME. After wearing this I don't really care to even try the real stuff. This is such a unique scent and is just wonderful. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

I tested this sent today. One spray stayed on my clothing for 6 hours. I bought this scent on a whim as it is highly reviewed! I havent smelled the original scent, but when I smelled is inspired by, I know I have smelled a scent similar to this out and about. I LOVE this. Perfect amount of warmth for my taste. Will purchase again!

I've never smelled Baccarat so this was a blind buy. However, I do enjoy this and it's one of my go-tos. I will admit at first spray it comes across a little 'machinery' smelling for me. Maybe its just my nose, bc my partner says they just smell a slight sweetness. It does dry down into a warmer, slightly sweet smell with that bit of musky/woodniess (maybe its the amber?) to it. It's unlike anything else I have that is for sure.

This actually smelled like the original scent. The only differences that I've noticed is that it doesn't have the same powerful punch of the first notes like the original. Also, after you put it on, it smells as though you've been wearing the original for a few hours, so the first notes don't last long and the second notes on in really fast. And lastly, it has a very short longevity, so you will need to spray it a few times throughout the day. In conclusion, if you really like the original scent and don't want to drop a couple of hundreds to get it, and you don't mind smelling like a faded version of the 450, then this is for you.

I think some people are anosmic to this one and I am partially so. I get a medicinal bitter note and a little sugar. But I cant smell it much at all. I will keep trying because maybe my nose just needs to get used to it. But its nothing like all the hype would have me think. Im appreciative of the Dossier version because its an affordable way to try and no big deal then that this isnt my favorite.

I've never smelled the scent that this is based on so I can't speak to its similarity, but on me, this smelled much sweeter than I was anticipating and also smelt a little cheap to me. Kind of gave victoria's secret body mist, so I'm a little disappointed

This smells amazing 1st spray. I love the scent more than any Dossier perfume I've tried, but like the others I just purchased, the scent fades in seconds. I'm smelling more alcohol than anything, and the VERY light dry down scent smells like a musky men's cologne and not a good one. I know it's unisex, but that dry down is straight, man. Me no likey

I like Baccarat Rouge 540, but I hate this... Ariana Grande's Cloud is a much better dupe. Spraying this actually makes me want to run from the spritz it's so bad. I almost wonder if I got a bad batch? I bought 3 others that were all better than this one... The Killian's dupe was the closest to the original that I found.

I personally haven't smelled the original but purchased because it was recommended for layering with my usual "daily driver" fragrance, Woody Sandalwood. I didn't like it at first but as it sits on my skin and warms up its really pleasant and the sweetness is mellowing out and the rest of the notes are coming through! If the woody sandalwood fragrance is a touch musky or harsh for you this is a nice, softer answer :)
