Ive only worn the original MFK BR540 a few times using a decant. I didnt want to spend so much on something I wasnt going to use on the daily; I like having a variety of scents. But I think I like this better than the original. Theres a sweetness to it that is really delicious smelling. I like that Dossier scents stand on their own and while they *totally* smell like the scents theyre inspired by, they dont smell like a cheap copy. They have a long-lasting fresh and smooth smell. If you like BR540 this is perfect for you. Use it to layer and make both of your bottles last longer or just use this instead !

I saw the original parfum at a customers house and fell in love, then saw the 300 dollar price tag.. no way would I ever purchase that but couldn't believe dossier had it. And it's incredible. Smells the same, I almost don't want to spray it just to savor it. It's just really amazing and sweet and fruity but nuanced.

I had never smelled BR540 so I didnt know what to expect. This does smell so good and lasts ages. However, for me, it is almost identical to God is a Woman and Cloud. I will say this is better than both of those in scent and longevity. But if you have either of those, it might be redundant to purchase this, too.

This was a blind buy and at first, I hated it as I am more of a floral type. After all-day wear, I found myself constantly smelling myself because it changes throughout the day into some spectacular. The saffron is such a unique addition and now I would like to bathe in this scent- so you should get it no matter your scent preference.

This is my absolute favorite perfume, and Dossier made a really good dupe. It's a warm, spicy scent; sweet, sultry, and comforting. If you've tried the original Bacarrat Rouge 540, this is very similar. I think the original is more complex, but the Dossier has a little more brightness and "pop" to it, and lasts quite a while. Love love love.

My friend who is a total scent snob just stopped me after wearing this for the first time and said is that your new perfume you mentioned? Because you smell amazing! and literally sniffed me. Thats all you need to know. If youre considering, stop and just go for it!

I did my research to find the best dupe for the baccarat rouge 540 and the Ambery Saffron got the best reviews. Let me tell you something, this smells exactly like the real thing and it lasts all day long! It smells so delish and classy. I will definitely be purchasing more of this in the future.

It started smelling like hospital disinfectant after a few sprays. Im convinced they dipped the tube in another perfume and sprayed to fill it up and then transferred that tube into the perfume they sent to me. Either way, I wont purchase from here anymore and wont recommend.

2nd bottle! Getting to the end of my first bottle and I cant imagine living without this scent. I wear it almost daily, carry it in my purse everywhere! If youre looking for a scent that others will remember you by this is it. My coworker was in the parking garage and didnt see me but she smelled the scent and just knew I had to be nearby. Walk down the street or go get an oil change and young guys (Im 51, theyre probably in their 20s) tell me I smell incredible! Incredible?! Ill take it!

I absolutely love this scent. I wish it would last a little longer but I plan to layer it with some of Dossiers other scents to create a more long lasting fragrance. Its a beautiful scent all on its own. It starts out with a strong saffron scent but it dries down sweet and elegant. Will purchase again!
