I love big fragrances that are on the masculine side. This one is so unique and I get so many compliments when I wear it. It lasts a long time on me as well. I've never smelled the original so I can't speak to how they compare. I just know this is beautifully unique.

I was really excited about this one and I got it and sprayed a few times on my arm and it kind of smelled of alcohol and to be honest it is not very strong. Im gonna give it a shot. Also, Ive noticed other fragrance companies have a place on their site that shows what fragrance is parallel together. I dont see that on yours and that would be very helpful.

Although I have never smelled Baccarat Rouge 540 before, I can tell you this perfume smells amazing! I get so many compliments when I wear it!! Not only that but it lasts so looong! I have a coat I wore it on and have washed it several times and yet the scent still lingers. Amazing! :)

I bought this perfume in December, i didnt think it lasted long and i felt like the smell went away real fast, but other people always seemed to notice it i get a lot of compliments on it and people always ask if im wearing the real one! So if you are doubting just buy it amazing purchase. And it does last a long time!

I was skeptical about this but it honestly smells really nice. I didn't have the original when I first got this but this smells so similar that sometimes I interchange them. It lasts for a good amount of time too for 5-6 hours at least. However within the first few seconds of spraying it has a slightly alcohol scent but it wears off and has it's regular scent. I think this is just overall a great dupe for the original. It is also great for layering with other scents and a great addition to your collection.

This one reminds me of that feeling of putting on the warm leather jacket of your 20 something boyfriend, and being enveloped in the warmth and coziness of the leather. It is a great bedtime scent, and I love how it is not overwhelmingly powerful but it has a nice longevity. I really like this one, it is like nothing else in my collection, a worthy addition to everyone's scent wardrobe!

I absolutely love this fragrance but the concentration is so low that it doesnt even last past my initial spray! Im wondering if I got a bad spray. Dont hesitate to give it a try still. I just see all the great reviews about people getting compliments when they wear it but none of my fragrances from Dossier never grab anyones attention like my designer ones. Just being honest

I may be becoming a dossier addict! This is my 10th fragrance from here, and as usual it totally delivers! I dont know what the original smells like, but this is a beautiful clean scent with a perfect blend of feminine and masculine. Sometimes I layer it to lean more one way or the other. Sometimes I wear it on its own. It doesnt last as long as some of the others, but it smells good sprayed on clothes unlike some others, and it lasts longer that way.

Bought this for a friend who loves the original. Ive never smelled it, but I can totally see how this is a unisex scent! I personally prefer gourmand scents, so this isnt necessarily my taste, but I can definitely still appreciate it on someone else. Id love to smell it on my husband! I just would rather wear something like Gourmand White Flower.

When I first sprayed this, it smelled like chemicals and I just didnt like it. I put it in my cabinet and forgot to return it. Fast forward six months, and I used it every day until I ran out. I just bought my second bottle. Its good for every day, all year round, day or night. Its a great skin scent. So glad I forgot to return this one.
