This scent is not for everyone, but its one of the most unique. Warm and sweet from the amber, woody and fresh from the fir resin. It makes me think of a cozy cabin. Ive found my new go-to Winter scent. Plus it lasts forever. If you have an open mind for unisex scents, give it a try!

This perfume smells delicious! It is also so potent and long-lasting, I have noticed myself smelling it on my bedsheets/clothes days later. I have a sample of Baccarat Rouge 540 parfum and a travel size of the extrait. This smells EXACTLY the same, if not a little better or more luxe-smelling. Definitely will be purchasing this from now on!

I haven't smelled the perfume this one is based off of, but if they smell similar I am glad I tried the cheaper dupe instead. This one was just not for me. I think I would like it on my boyfriend however if it stayed truer to the scent in the bottle on his skin. on me it was just overpoweringly peppery in comparison to the other notes for me and regardless I don't see myself wearing it even if it did stay truer to scent. I get it is unisex but I thought it would be more warm and it was sharper and greener to my nose than I expected. It has a very middle of the road kind of smell though... so I can see the appeal as it doesn't feel strictly summer or winter.

I read so many reviews & watched so many videos before buying this one bc I wanted the best dupe for Baccarat Rouge 540. Dossier doesn't advertise this as a dupe, they say "inspired by"- but I will for sure be spending my money on this one bc I can't tell much of a difference. I LOVE THIS SCENT!

Closest BR540 dupe I have smelled on both initial spray and after dry down(for me personally). It's amazing and will definitely repurchase. Does it last/project on skin an hour or 2 less than br540 ? Yes but at this price I have zero complaints and it still projects on my skin for a solid 8 hours. Would recommend to anyone who loves BR540 to purchase this. Received package with all 5 fragrances I ordered within a week and all had the sample included. I decided to keep all 5 fragrances.

How disappointing. This is my second bottle and it smells nothing like baccarat or the first bottle of ambery saffron that i purchased. I have been using it for over a year and the smell was soft and supple and lingered all day and I received compliments all the time. this new formula of this second bottle that I bought smells heavily of rubbing alcohol. They must have stretched out some of the ingredients to make production cheaper. It doesnt even linger on the skin. It smells completely different. how tragic I use this regularly when I want to preserve my original bottle of baccarat for special occasions, and as I thought was a perfect stand in. But now I am so disappointed. I want a replacement or a refund. Two stars because I loved the original bottle.

I bought three bottles of this scent and was impressed by the first bottle. Once I was mostly finished with my first bottle, I began on my second bottle... And this is where things went downhill. I noticed that the second and third bottles smelled entirely different from the first! I sprayed all three and compared them side by side. The other two bottles smelled like alcohol + barn! I've kept all of the bottles in temperature/humidity- controlled environments away from the sun, leading me to believe that I received a bad batch. Unfortunately, I realized after the 30 day mark and could not return. So I'm left with two bottles of perfume that I cannot use which is especially unfortunate because this was the most expensive. Make sure to try all the bottles even if you bought multiples of the same one because you may get a very inconsistent batch. This has made me apprehensive to using Dossier again.

I got this when I exchanged "Woody Sandalwood" because is not what I had thought but since I still wanted a scent that had a "spice" note in it and the other was too spicy for me, I went for this one. I have not smelled the inspiration of this scent so it was a blind exchange and this one is more of what I was looking for. It is on the sweeter side, pleasant and not too strong that if is oversprayed- people will cover their nose. I feel both, this one and Woody Sandalwood are cousins but one is more seductive and soft-spoken (this one) and the other is the loud one :-) I layered this one with Woody Chesnut and is a match made in scent heaven! It creates a scent with depth and the Saffron from this scent combined with the Cloves from Woody Chesnut is the perfect winter scent.

I received my bottle within a week of ordering, and I have never been more obsessed with a perfume. This perfume smells very grown and sexy and though I do find it more feminine, it would probably also work well for men. This is definitely an intense scent with a lot of lasting power, to the point that I can still smell it on my clothes days later and sometimes faintly even after washing them. It's a headturner for sure, and I even had a girl chase me down from across the gym to ask what perfume I was wearing. HIGHLY recommend this scent, especially considering the price. Can't wait to try other perfumes from Dossier and buy some perfumes for friends and family for Christmas this year.

I was inspired to try Ambery Saffron after my friend wore it one night. She hugged me, and the scent stuck to me well into the following day. As I suspected, it didnt disappoint when I started wearing it myself. A complex, long-lasting scent thats not overpowering. Absolutely love it and the price point.
