I was so excited when I got this scent! It smelled amazing - I thought I had found my new way of buying perfume. Unfortunately about 2 months after purchasing and using this perfume every day, the scent started fading earlier in the day, and has now faded so much that as soon as I spray it on it just smells like rubbing alcohol. I had seen other reviews like this but thought if I kept the bottles in a dark and cool place it might prevent this from happening, but that seems not to have been the case. I bought two other scents as part of this order (dupes for YSL Black Opium and Lost Cherry) and while they lasted a bit longer, they are starting to fade now too... unfortunately this was not a worthwhile dupe or a good investment, and has just left me feeling sad over what could have been :(

I had a little sample size of the Black Opium perfume and the smell was the exact same! maybe there was a note/smell slightly off but it was the slightest ever and definitely not noticeable unless you're smelling the bottles side by side. Overall a great perfume, for me its definitely a good going out smell!

I've never smelled Baccarat so this was a blind buy. However, I do enjoy this and it's one of my go-tos. I will admit at first spray it comes across a little 'machinery' smelling for me. Maybe its just my nose, bc my partner says they just smell a slight sweetness. It does dry down into a warmer, slightly sweet smell with that bit of musky/woodniess (maybe its the amber?) to it. It's unlike anything else I have that is for sure.

Having never smelled the original I was intrigued. Obviously the hype around the original is intense but the price is prohibitively high. That said, this smells absolutely amazing. Its definitely a night time/date/going out fragrance for me. It leans more feminine in my opinion. Its decadent, sophisticated but not overpowering.

Let me start by saying this is I believe my 6th bottle of perfume from here. All different scents. And I've never been disappointed until I recently bought Ambery Saffron. There is barely a smell and definitely no staying power. It smells similar to Burberry Her so I layer it with that to use it because I refuse to waste product. But that's the reasoning for the 1 star. Otherwise everything else I've bought I absolutely loved. But I'll pass on buying this one again

This projects insanely!! I spray my clothes and I can smell it for days. Literally sprayed it on a sweater, then packed it away for summer, took it out again, I could still smell it! Smells like BR540. My husbands favorite scent for a fraction of the price!

I love this scent so much. I tried another brands dupe and it had more alcohol to it. Dossiers dupe is wayyyy better. Im trying use up the other brands bottle before I buy another but dont worry, I still carry four other Dossier fragrances with me daily

Dossier promoted the heck out of this one and it had me intrigued and their promotion worked - I bought it. Unfortunately, this one falls short of the hype. I can barely smell this after only a few minutes of wear - and by few, I mean few - 5 minutes tops. This is one that's on the high end of their price point range and in my opinion, not worth it as there just isn't any staying power. There are many other Amber based selections in their inventory, my recommendation is to not bother with this one and try something else. Amber Cedarwood is fabulous as is Ambery Vanilla or Ambery Sage. Ambery Saffron just doesn't live up to the expectations.

Have never smelled BR540 but this is so addicting and easy to wear. Its like cotton candy on me and remains sweet in the dry down and takes on that medicinal/bandaid quality that some people mention. But in the best way possible. Lasts about 5-6 hours easy on me. My fiance doesnt stop complimenting the scent when I wear it. I wasnt expecting to love it this much but I wear it constantly now! Will definitely be buying another!

I havent compared MFKs perfume directly with this yet (but its probably about 85-90% similar Id say) but I get compliments every time I wear this! Im normally into very clean, citrusy scents but this has a nice woody depth to it that makes me feel sophisticated and maybe just a lil sensual haha
