With the way I see people raving about this fragrance and seeing that the price went up recently, I was expecting it to smell sexy&sophisticated and last longer than 1hour. I tried to love it but I love the Gourmand White Flowers and Fruity Almond way better. Havent bought the original but this is not for me. Returning all 3 bottles

I have never sampled BR540, but THIS scent is decadent and intoxicating. I am so obsessed my other fragrances are collecting dust. I purchased this for Christmas, and I have used over half the bottle. I become nose blind after an hour or so, but I have received compliments as long as 6 -7 hours after putting it on. I have tried other BR540 dupes, but this one is my favorite.

Unique scent that I find is tickling to the senses as it's not my typical scent. I enjoy it. It has a hint of metallic among the other notes described. I give 5 stars for the scent, though the 4 stars is because, as other reviews have mentioned, the staying power of the scent is not as long as other fragrances by dossier, this is perhaps ~4 hours for me? And I use lotion everyday and have well hydrated skin. Other Dossier fragrances I can easily go 6-8 hours.

The first time I ordered this perfume, I absolutely loved it! It smelled amazing, it stayed strong all day, and I'd get so many compliments! My coworkers who would rave about it would say they could still smell me end of the day even tho I put it on once >7 hours ago! (I will say tho they did have abnormally sensitive noses lol)Once I ran out I placed a second order for a replacement bottle, and although the scent smells the same, unfortunately it's not nearly as strong and the staying power is almost non-existent. It'll smell for a few minutes, then quickly fade. I've changed nothing about how I apply the perfume, nor how much, all I did was just get a new bottle. I even asked the coworkers who used to rave about if if they could smell me (I know, weird question) and they said they couldn't smell anything at all. I'm very disappointed that the either the quality declined as the scent has gotten more popular (diluting it??), or if their quality control is just that bad to where there would be such a drastic difference between lots/batches.Due to this I returned the bottle, and I'm going to try to order it one more time to see if I get a good batch/lot (I love it so much), but if the smell is once again super light and doesn't stay I guess I'll have to find a new go-to scent :(

I don't even have words for how amazing this perfume is. It smells so good. I only ordered it because I read an article online about the original perfume and was fascinated but my budget doesn't run that deep, especially for something I'd never tried. This was worth every penny. Absolutely gorgeous smell.

The amount of compliments I get when I wear this perfume is astounding. From people at work to strangers that I pass, it's such a flattering scent and lasts all day. I usually wear smokey unisex scents like Maison Margiela's By the Fireplace, but this was a very lovely gift.

I purchased this with very low expectations. Not because I hadnt read the reviews but due to the fact that I am too picky! To be honest Im not sure what the original scent should even smell like but..... This stuff is amazing ! Ive worn it everyday for a week and every single day I have strangers telling me how good I smell! Its obviously not overbearing because I forget Im even wearing it! That being said I was under the impression the scent didnt linger. Completely wrong! I may be used to the scent but after a full day of wearing it Im still getting compliments! I will purchase this again and again

Ambery Saffron is one of my favorite frags ever. I actually don't prefer the og MFK version as I get a whole lot of the medicinal band-aid smell, then grow anosmic to it within about 3 mins. The dossier version skips all that and goes straight to the heavenly dry-down. I get wafts of this all day and absolutely love it.

This scent is a forever fave. Compared to the real MFK BR 540 Extrait it's brighter and lighter, more orange, less smoke, but it's slight. I don't have the real EDP to compare but the same heart and base and mouthwatering warm sugar cotton candy lives in this. I have 2 bottles. Beautiful die down to an amber crystal that sticks close to the skin. Sticks to clothing really well.

I heard so much nice things about the way these smell. Now I feel crazy because I do not like them. Is it just me? I think all 3 of them, literally, stink. They smell of old lady, and I hate to say such bad things about a company that's reputable and has many GREAT reviews.
