Quickly learned to deactivate the alarms when I forgot to set to "off" or "home", but once you figure out the app, the system gives you peace of mind. I live in the southwest so the elements are rough. all the inside sensors & keypad had everything I needed to install. The base station was easy to hook up to Wi-Fi. I was able to set it up throughout my house and cameras outside. I feel pretty secure with the set up and all of the cameras and sensors included in packaging.

The durability and value of this system seems to work well in all weather. I would highly recommend this security system!

I put up the hub, keypad, some motion sensors and a camera and they all worked fine. The app for the system is good software and it was easy to navigate. The alarm is incredibly loud. All the parts of this system perform as they should and they seem like quality products with good materials and well thought out features. I must mention the downside though- it really seems like a lot of features are behind a paywall. If I knew about the paywall and subscription I would've maybe passed on this one, so I knocked off a star for that. But, for those who don't mind paying, I'm sure they do a good job and give you lots of features and data.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SimpliSafe Series 2 camera system has some strong features, but overall, my experience was mixed. The cameras themselves worked well good video quality, easy setup, and reliable motion alerts. The mobile app was user-friendly and made it simple to check in when I was away. However, the biggest downside for me was the door sensors. They didn’t stick well at all, even on clean, flat surfaces. I had to keep pressing them back into place, and a few eventually fell off completely. For a security system, that’s frustrating and makes the setup feel unreliable. I expected better quality or at least stronger adhesive. If you’re mainly interested in the cameras, the system is decent. But if you need dependable door sensors as part of your home security, this might not be the best option unless you’re willing to buy extra mounting supplies or upgrade the sensors.

I’ve had my system for 5 years from day one I’ve had issue after issue. Base station,key pad,camera,sensor issues back to back replacement components sent I’ve escalated to the highest departments with no help a manager finally told me today there’s nothing we can do we’ve tried everything maybe it’s your house or you have interference I’ve had this for 5 years! I’ve replaced every single component serval times now my front door lock had froze it won’t respond and when you try to fix it the app says call us. When I di they said sorry we have no idea what’s going on they won’t refund me. They won’t send out anymore parts they won’t give me my money they said we can give you 3 free months….. what am I gonna do with 3 free months? The system doesn’t work!!!! So what good is 3 months. I literally had the rep tell me just use it as is you should be fine. You just can’t use the door lock cameras but the monitoring should be safe to use still excuse meeeeee
