[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lineate XLT 2-Piece Set (20/28) from Samsonite is my second set from Samsonite and a quality product. Our current set is more than 15 years old and has held its integrity with extensive world travel, with only recently needing a wheel replacement.  as a company, we have trust in the quality and durability of Samsonite luggage. What I liked: the TSA compatible walking mechanism is a creative way to secure your baggage. The default locking code can be found inside the luggage or on the Samsonite website. The mechanism to unlock isn't intuitive, but you push down on the lever to pop the zipper handles free. As someone who has lost more than one lock before, this will be great. The luggage is very lightweight and nice to look at. The telescopic handle has different length settings to match the optimum height for your needs. The compression straps are nice for containing loose and flowy items. The interior pattern is appealing in the fabric is soft. What I would change: we have only ever had soft shell luggage, and it is a different distribution of space. The luggage has spinner wheels which are more prone to damage (compared to inline/skate wheels), but are also easier to replace. This is a personal preference, and I would always opt for inline over spinner. Other comments: some space is lost due to the housing of the handle apparatus. As well, softshell seems to be easier to pack due to the more obvious compression and expansion features. As a hard shell, there is no exterior pocket for storing a tablet or documents, but the interior zip pouch can be used instead. Retrieval may be a bit more cumbersome, but that's just the nature of a hard top bag. While hardshell is more resistant to the elements and punctures, it is more likely to scratch or scuff, so something to keep in mind. Most of my travel is for work and due to the smaller size of the carry-on bag, my needed PPE consumes almost the entire entirety of the space, before any other items are added. This would not be ideal for that type of travel, but for a weekend getaway or a business casual booking, this would work well. Overall, a high-quality product. I removed one star simply because of the wheel type and the loss of space on the inside.

I love the color, sturdiness, and look, but the carry-on is WAY too small! That was the first thing we used because we had a trip planned and we were shocked at how small it was… and it doesn't even expand! I want to return the set just because of the carry-on size.

The outer shell is absolutely beautiful, yet sophisticated, and very easy to clean. The zippers are very sturdy, and overall the entire suitcase, and the carry on, feel incredibly tough, while remaining very light, at just a few pounds each. The wheels are the smoothest out of any suitcase I’ve ever owned, I just love rolling it around. Also the lock option is so useful. Both pieces are very spacious, I’m super excited to take them on our family vacation next month. I absolutely recommend this set!

From the very beginning, I was impressed by the quality of the materials and how sturdy they feel. They feature an elegant, modern design and a beautiful color that stands out without being flashy. The first thing I noticed is how sleek and professional it looks The black colour is classic and does a great job of hiding scuffs and marks that inevitably happen during travel. The spinner wheels roll smoothly and make navigating through busy airports much easier. Even when fully packed, the luggage feels balanced and easy to manoeuvre. The handle extends and retracts smoothly and the overall construction feels sturdy and well made. Inside, there’s plenty of room for clothes, shoes, and travel essentials. I especially like the organised compartments that help keep everything in place. The expandable feature is also a huge plus when bringing home souvenirs or packing for longer trips. After using it on multiple trips, it has held up beautifully with no issues with the zippers, wheels or handles. Samsonite is known for quality, and this set lives up to the reputation. I would highly recommend the Lineate XLT to anyone looking for durable, reliable, stylish luggage that makes travel a little less stressful.

They both have built in TSA lock on the side, even the carry on. They both feel really durable while maintaining a light weight. The wheels move around so nice that they almost feel like they are gliding on ice. You don’t need to worry if you accidentally buy too many souvenir shirts either, both of them expand to add some extra room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are excellent suitcases, good for all my travel needs whether it's a weekend away or a longer extended trip. The larger and smaller suitcases are virtually identical except the larger one is expandable. Hard side cases feel durable and seem like they would protect the contents well. On the outside, the zippers have an integrated lock with a TSA access feature, offering better security. Wheels are multi directional and feel sturdy. Extended handle is easy to use and comfortable to grip and there's a lay flat handle as well. I really like the color and the texture/pattern as it isn't flashy but still stands out. The inside of both is roomy with multiple pockets that offer easy organization and two straps make it a cinch to secure items on one side. On the other side, the integrated pockets zip away to revel the other half of the suitcase storage which seems perfect for dividing dirty and clean laundry during a trip. The zippered side would also be ideal for storing small/loose items that might otherwise get misplaced.

The outdoor hard shell is durable, solid, and protects items fantastically. Inside, it has multiple bungee clips that has 4 paths to hold clothing in place. The opposite side is zippered, then the covered part has zippered pockets. Overall size is good for 2-3 people, the smaller bag maybe 2 if traveling lightly or a child's bag. The handle extends smoothly and has multiple levels so it is comfortable no matter your height. The wheels are textured and roll in all directions easily. Overall a great product with a lot of cool features.
