I’m genuinely impressed with this CAT 3-ton floor jack. You can tell the second you unbox it that it’s not one of those “lightweight, wobbly” jacks that makes you nervous the entire time you’re under a vehicle. This thing feels solid, heavy-duty, and built to last exactly what you want when safety matters. Performance wise, it lifts smoothly and consistently. The pump action feels strong and controlled, and it doesn’t feel like you’re fighting it to get the height you need. Once it’s under load, it stays stable and doesn’t shift around. The wide stance and sturdy construction give you that confidence that you’re not one bump away from a bad day. I also really like how it rolls and positions. Some jacks drag, twist, or feel awkward when you’re trying to line them up under a lift point this one moves into place easily and feels predictable. That’s a big deal if you’re working in a garage, driveway, or anywhere that isn’t perfectly smooth. The release/lowering is another highlight. It lowers in a controlled way instead of that sudden “drop” that cheaper jacks sometimes do. That smoother descent makes a huge difference for both safety and overall quality feel. The handle is comfortable, the controls are straightforward, and it just does what it’s supposed to do without any drama. I’ve used it for routine things like tire changes and maintenance, and it feels like it could handle much more. Right out of the box-HEAVY. Hope this lives up to the CAT name. There is a small tray on it to place small items like lug nuts. It needs at least a 3.5 inch or better clearance to get the foot under the lift point. You only have about 8 inches before the lift starts getting taller. Two options for raising the jack, either a foot pedal or the handle. You have to use the handle to access the release mechanism.

Both my son, who is a professional mechanic, and I highly recommend the CAT low-profile hydraulic floor jack. This low profile 3 ton CAT jack is awesome! Very heavy duty and really sturdy. You can tell it was made to be put to work constantly. The low profile design makes it great for lowered vehicles and works all the way up to heavy duty trucks. From the convenience of the foot pedal pump and the dual piston quick lift makes this jack well worthy and a good all arounder

Much faster and easier to manage than my last jack. With the length of the shaft and quick release food pedal it makes it a lot easier to quick move vehicles up and down. I've only used it a few time but it seems really sturdy when going under the vehicle, lining it up correctly and quickly pumping the vehicle high enough to put a stand under.

This is an awesome jack, very low profile with heavy duty high quality materials throughout. The CAT name is one you know that you can trust for getting the job done right and this jack fits right into that image of the CAT brand. Easy to assemble in a couple of minutes, controls that give you confidence, and materials that will last. Definitely would recommend this one.

General use of jack is good. A good weight for size and not hard to maneuver into position to lift a vehicle. The handle is a little short on the length. Would be better if it was 6 to 12 inches longer. The low profile is great at 3 1/8inch high. My low profile Daytona jack is 3.5 inch high. Going to use at the farm to get under equipment that I have to drive onto blocks first to get a regular floor jack under.

Rolls good and is easy to use for small and medium size vehicles (have not attempted on large vehicles). Max weight is 3 ton. Easy to operate and has a foot pedal in addition to the handle. The jack pumps up quicker and easier with foot pedal than using arm handle pump.

This is a super heavy duty hydraulic jack. Very sturdy and lives up to the Caterpillar name. I would say the only thing that I didn't care for is the fact that have to have rod pushed down all the way to release the plug and lower the jack. However, that is a safety mechanism that most people will likely need. Overall really good product and would highly recommend.

Very sturdy and high quality jack. The jack comes very well packaged but is very heavy. Not something that I would keep in my car to for when I get a flat. For me, it is just too heavy to lug around, but I could see someone who does tire work commercially that it would be a great product to add to their tools.
