I'm almost sorry that I bought this for my husband. The scent is so seductive that women follow him down the hall at work, just so they can smell him.It's an amazing fragrance, and out of all the brands he's ever worn (Paco, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, etc), this is the absolute favorite at a fraction of the price.

I was skeptical at first. I have smelt the original sauvage numerous times and I love it. I first sprayed them both on two separate pieces of paper. The dossier version is a bit peppery at first, but once you let them sit for a few seconds they smell identical. I think the dossier smells better IMO and it lasts longer! I asked my family which one they thought was the actual sauvage and they all guessed the dossier!

This fragrance opens very bright and peppery but with some sharpness. The sharpness fades after a few minutes as the peppery spice notes really come forward in a clearer way and the citrus quiets down. The fresh citrus top notes do wear away completely much faster than I would like but the combination of warm and deep mid and base notes that are left lingering after are hard to beat and quite addictive. The fragrance is versatile enough for all year and every setting and environment while complex enough to not be boring if maybe a bit ubiquitous.Given how great this fragrance is its a shame the performance isnt stronger. Projection starts off initially maybe two meters but fades within the hour to one meter or so then down in another hour or so to a much more intimate skin scent. Once its gotten down to that point it does linger for quite a while. Ive had mornings that I wake to the base notes there to ever so subtly greet me from the night before and thats a nice way to wake up. During the day Ive reapplied at about the 4 hour mark if I want another burst of bright citrus and pepper or just want to be smelled beyond hugging range. However in the evenings I let the base notes linger for nights of Netflix and chill with the wife. I would say if your okay with reapplying the value with Aromatic Star Anise is great.One side note, when testing the fragrance and attempting for more performance more than 4 sprays would give me a headache. Id recommend reapplying instead of over spraying.

I don't know much about scents, and I'm definitely not familiar with the perfume that this product draws inspiration from, but this scent with dossier's Woody Sage honestly had me sniffing my own clothes throughout the day. If I caught a whiff of someone wearing this, I think I would combust. Just so you guys know.

I was very excited to get my order to try out these affordable perfumes. They smell very similar to the name brands and I was impressed at first. After about 30 min the perfume wore off completely and I realized it doesnt last long at all. You get what you pay for sadly, and I am not sure I will buy again. Disappointed.

Love this scent! Went in blind and ordered for my fiance, he is very used to sweeter B&BW colognes but I wanted to get him something that would last longer and is stronger scented. His initial impressions were its spicy and warm when its first sprayed. It smells woody and lavender-y. After sitting on the skin for a bit and settling, you get the sweeter side of the cologne while still carrying the woody/spicy scent. What I love about this cologne is it travels. He can spray it in our bedroom and I can smell it in the living room once its floated in the air! When he walks by, it gives a very nice sweet and cool scent, just like Savauge, and it lasts him all day! Even after work! He likes the scent and the price. Very great scent for all year round. Excited to see how it smells with his body chemistry during summer to see what other notes it brings out!

This is a nice scent that feels like a cousin to the original, with the evergreen notes more prominent. However, this scent goes away after an hour or so. In comparison, I have a strip of cardstock that I sprayed with the original at a big-box beauty store weeks ago, and it still retains the scent. If longevity matters to you, Star Anise will disappoint sorely. If you want a perfume just for yourself, for about an hour, and you like the original this is based on, you might enjoy it.

I can tell if a guy is wearing the Sauvage by Dior cologne from a mile away - its my absolute favorite. I got my boyfriend this dupe for Christmas and its AMAZING! Almost an exact replica of the original scent and I get the same warm fuzzy feels when I smell it. Cannot recommend enough omg

HOLY GUACAMOLEY. THIS PERFUME IS AMAZING! I honestly didnt know what to expect since Ive never smelled the perfume this one is created after but I was not disappointed. I get compliments constantly when I wear this perfume. I will be buying more soon!

Oh. My. God. Got this as a Christmas gift and am in absolute awe. Ive never been a perfume gal, and get headaches from them very easily. This is potentially the best scent I have ever smelled. Perfect mix of a musky/peppery masculine smell and a hint of feminine floral. Genuinely think Ive found my forever scent, highly recommended to all!
