The scent was good and strong. Overall okay. I had to return because suavage has a very specific smell and thats what I was looking for. I just returned and went to buy suavage. The smell was pretty close tho and it seemed like it would last pretty well.

Again, this review is based on the Dossier scent alone with no comparison to the designer. I'm loving this! I put it on fresh out of the shower and get a zing from it's scent that lasts throughout the day. By zing I mean, it's, for lack of a better word kind of invigorating. It feels fresh and clean and noticable without being in your face. Not overwhelming at all. Simple no nonsense wear. It just seems to be there without a lot that doesn't need to be there if that makes sense. By the way I love the magnetic tops on the bottles and the packaging. Top notch! Delivery could be a little faster but I'm sure I could pay for that.

I love a masculine scent so I was looking at this for myself and my husband said do they have any ones like the Johnny Depp cologne and I knew he meant this. I think it smells great on my husband but not as great on me so Im sticking with my Fogure Lavender.

My favorite DOSSIER offering of the 5 scents I purchased together is this one. It smells like exotic soap from far down the silk road. The Lavender and Anise shine and blend well with all the other notes. It's complex and magical. Moderate Projection Moderate Sillage Average Longevity about 5 hours tops

I was hopeful to try Dossier, and I'm glad I did. I feel like I've discovered a real treasure in Dossier. Aromatic Star Anise is fantastic. It's a high quality product that lasts and is enjoyable all day. Highly recommend. I'm excited to try more from Dossier.

My best friend dislikes extremely strong or excessive smells, and we have both been trying to find a more affordable option for expensive brands of perfume that finish in the blink of an eye with how small they are. This was the perfect Christmas gift; he loved it. The packaging was nice, the shipping was fast, and the lid for the bottle was magnetic! making it impossible to lose. I too am considering purchasing something for myself here, there are so many choices :)

Oh. My. God. Got this as a Christmas gift and am in absolute awe. Ive never been a perfume gal, and get headaches from them very easily. This is potentially the best scent I have ever smelled. Perfect mix of a musky/peppery masculine smell and a hint of feminine floral. Genuinely think Ive found my forever scent, highly recommended to all!

Scent association can be as subjective as it is objective. Recipes and formulas are exacted and solidified, to be reproduced faithfully. When a scent registers a negative association in our memory - through no fault of the scent itself - it can be hard to shake the guilt of association. Basically I tried this and it reminded me of something weird. The old Its not you, its me.

Very strong scent. The opening smells a lot like Sauvage, but the middle veers heavily towards patchouli, losing its sweetness, and ending in a very metallic scent that is off-putting to me. Incredibly powerful projection, but because I didn't like the scent, I decided to return it. Nevertheless, I would recommend this for lovers of very masculine scents.

I tried a sample of Sauvage cologne from Armani and bought this sprayed each on one of my husband's wrists. I showed him the price tag of each...then he sniffed each one. He couldn't tell a difference and neither could I. His #1 favorite so far he doesn't wear foo-foo that much but he told me to make sure he never ran out. Thanks Dossier
