I am in love with the initial smell of this perfume, but it quickly dries down into a very sharp scent with an almost acrid aftersmell. For what its worth, the initial smell is identical to what I smelled in stores, and maybe the sharp dry down is identical too... It also smelled great dried down on my clothes, but just didn't work at all on my skin.

I think people were lying when he said, this smell exactly like black opium, because it doesnt even smell similar to it. If anything, the perfume has too much of a floral smell then even a vanilla smell, and Is throw me off because it says Ambery vanilla, but it smells like a floral perfume And I dont Really smell any other nose then floral is kind of sad because Of course I didnt expect it. It smells exactly like black opium, but I was hoping at least most similar to it and it doesnt even smell like vanilla at all.

Tried on a whim and Ambery Vanilla is a hit! It smells so lovely and is just like it's described, with rich notes of vanilla and amber that create a wonderfully intoxicating smell! The scent is warm, pretty and a little sultry from the amber notes. Definitely recommend buying and having in your arsenal for Fall (although it will smell great year round too)!

If you like vanilla this is definitely for you. I loved the other two I got this particular one was just a little too sweet for me. Does last all day and smells like warm vanilla. Still recommend just not for me. Looking forward to trying more scents.

this ambery vanilla perfume is truly better than black opium. why? its a true rich, vanilla bean thats elegant and lively. dossier does a fabulous job on meeting the notes to make this fragrance spectacular. if you want an elegant, rich, and charming smell do not hesitate this is the one. plus ur saving money (girl math!)

I bought this for myself a year ago and was obsessed. It smells exactly like Black Opium by YSL. Every time my friend comes over she goes straight to my bedroom and uses it. Fast forward to now, I just bought her a bottle for Christmas and it came extremely quick! She is so happy to have a bottle too!

Just received today. Instant try on. Lovely scent. However, my swoon was over the sample of Orchid & Sandalwood at Dusk sample that was included in my order! Holy Moly. THIS is the signature fragrance I've been looking for a long time. (Now to get a date. '0). ) Thank you, Dossier.

This is my favorite smell. This one did have a different color from the original bottle that I purchased maybe a year ago and there was a slight scent difference but nothing too crazy off. The first bottle I have does smell a little Better than this new last purchase. Not sure if the difference is because of time and aging or because the formula was changed.

I saw so many amazing reviews about this perfume and it's original that I really wanted to love it. But, it didn't go well at all with my skin composition. When I sprayed it in the air to see if I liked it, it just wasn't for me. It just smelled my a very odd combination of scents. I really wanted to love it, and it was the one I was looking forward to the most from my order. But, I ended up liking my third choice the most and my first choice the least, which was this perfume.

YSL is king, dont get me wrong. But this one is an EXACT dupe both in the bottle and on the skin. The scent is long lasting even after a long night out and I can still smell it on my skin the next day. Highly recommend this scent for an affordable dupe of black opium. Will definitely be purchasing this one again and again!! My husband has no idea its not the real thing and he says this is his favorite perfume that I wear.
