I bought this merely as a layering suggestion from Dossier's experts, and it is absolutely my new favorite!! Men are loving it--afterall, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, LOL!! I do wish it would last longer, and would be willing to pay a little more if y'all could make that happen.

I think people were lying when he said, this smell exactly like black opium, because it doesnt even smell similar to it. If anything, the perfume has too much of a floral smell then even a vanilla smell, and Is throw me off because it says Ambery vanilla, but it smells like a floral perfume And I dont Really smell any other nose then floral is kind of sad because Of course I didnt expect it. It smells exactly like black opium, but I was hoping at least most similar to it and it doesnt even smell like vanilla at all.

GF loved it! Her favorite perfume is Black Opium so I got her this and now were both huge Dossier fans. Great quality and worth buying multiple bottles, also got the Woody Basil (YSL Pour Homme) and the Fugere Bergamot (Versace Dylan Blue) and those are now my go-tos.

Love the longevity and how good this fragrance smells! I use it to layer under my original brand scent and let me tell you... it makes it all even better!!!!I wear it by itself also nd ha e gotten so many compliments about it that I'm going to try a different one I have read so many good things about... I'll keep you posted :)

Not crazy about this perfume. I thought it was supposed to smell like Opium but it definitely doesnt. And trying to do an exchange is soooo difficult! I uploaded the pic like they asked but the steps just keep going in a loop. So frustrating! Pretty soon it will be too late and I will be stuck with it!

I ended up exchanging this and a couple others because my husband said it made me smell like a Macys. It did smell lovely and very similar to the original. The exchange process was very fast/simple and I have 5 Dossier fragrances that I love I wear one every day.

I have wanted the YSL perfume for a long time but wasn't into paying the hefty price, My husband found Dossier and I had to give it a shot. This smells identical to the YSL perfume. It's long lasting and I like that the cap has a magnet so I don't have to worry about the bottle opening when I travel with the bottle. Also shipped out quick and packaged neatly.If you are thinking about buying this stuff DO IT ! I'm very happy.

Lovely amber scent. The notes that stick out to me are the amber, vanilla, and jasmine. A very sweet jasmine. I wouldnt say its a great exact dupe for black opium- but its more like if you like that perfume you will probably like the vibe of this one as well. For me the scent lasts about two hours on the skin.

I am in love with the initial smell of this perfume, but it quickly dries down into a very sharp scent with an almost acrid aftersmell. For what its worth, the initial smell is identical to what I smelled in stores, and maybe the sharp dry down is identical too... It also smelled great dried down on my clothes, but just didn't work at all on my skin.

I probably should have known that it would be a bit too flowery for my personal tastes given that the middle notes are jasmine and orange blossom, but I guess you live and learn. I'll still use it though, and maybe buy something from the unisex or masculine sections next time (or at least make sure it doesn't have floral notes).Regardless, I think it is a good quality perfume and I absolutely love that the perfume bottle cap is magnetic. So fun!
