I have never smelled the original, but Ive heard based off reviews that it is very similar. Regardless, this is a beautiful fragrance. This is perfect for date night, but I think you could also wear this in the office every day. Is definitely on the sweeter side of Fragrances. I highly recommend it!

I bought the set and this was one of the fragrances I didnt want to try as the name sounded like itd be like a grandma perfume, but I was wrong I think this is my favorite out of the whole set! Scent is light and fresh. The scent lasted for the 5 hours before bed when I tried it. Didnt take forever to dry down very nice!

I absolutely love this scent! I can definitely smell a little alcohol when I first spray it but soon after it smells the exact same as the original Black Opium. The only other difference is that the scent doesnt last as long as black opium does, (on me) but it was still definitely beyond my expectations. Also, taking into account that different scents react differently to ones individual body chemistry. All in all, when compared side-by-side, Ill be purchasing the Dossier version. Their prices are extremely affordable, and their perfumes are of great quality; would absolutely recommend to others!

This has quickly become my go to fragrance. It miss well with my body chemistry and has great longevity staying all through the day. I love to use this as a base layer and add Tom Fords Powdery Tobacco or Mugler Alien on top for a night out. So glad this is back in stock!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. My friend got me a small perfume sampler kit, and it had the YSL Black Opium and I fell I love with it, but its too expensive, sadly. I searched up the best dupes, and this one came up and Ive heard ab dossier before so I ordered it and it is SO GOOD.

Compliments everywhere I go. No one believes me when I tell them the price or where I got it from. I also love that it stays for a while. In general have had great experience with Dossier scent longevity compared to some of my designer perfumes that I've had. This is a great warm scent and is heavy on the vanilla. I've smelled the original perfume and its not quite the same as Black opium is less vanilla and more floral, BUT I still love this scent and feel like its the exact same vibe.

I was surprised how much I liked this one! Initially, I was underwhelmed, but I kept catching hints of the scent throughout the afternoon, and was SMITTEN with it! This is also a great mixer and adds a warm sugary sweetness to some of the florals or woody fragrances and makes for a mysterious and one of a kind fragrance cloud! Vanilla is one of my favorite notes, and this one really brings the vanilla to life!

This is very true to the original to the point I really can't tell the difference. And the staying power is a beast. So glad I took a chance on this one. And it was all becasue I loved the first one I bought so much; I knew the rest would be great too.

This is a bestseller for a reason. It smells exactly like Black Opium. I remember falling in love with the scent years ago, but not falling in love with the price. This is the most fantastic dupe. It stays on my skin for HOURS. At the end of my work day, I can still smell it.

I bought this and i was skeptical if it would actual smell like ysl black opium honestly. When i got it i sprayed it and I like it a little more than the YSL, its a really good dupe. The scents are super similar and the longevity is really nice also! I definitely recommend this it's worth taking the chance on it if you enjoy black opium!
