This perfume is phenomenal. The comparison to YSL Black Opium is unmatched.. I will never go back to buying the original YSL Black Opium. I am OBSESSED with this version. Dossier is incredible, I could not be happier. I am so picky with my perfume and Dossier continues to blow me away with their scent formulas. Also, this lasts all day and I get so many compliments any time I wear it!

No amber or vanilla for me, it was too sweet.. it did leave a little more coffee on wrist compare to sprayed on a card, but sweetness just overpowers. It reminds me of Victorias secret scents. I prefer woody/earthy scent so it might be for someone with fruity taste.

A coworker mentioned this company to me once I had mentioned I loved layering and different scents. I am still stunned at how much this smells like Black Opium. I ran out awhile ago and couldnt afford to buy it off a whim. When I saw this was an option, I took a chance and bought it and the Fruity Brown Sugar (Mon Paris). I cant see myself buying the real bottles again. Absolutely shook. I cant wait for the Bacarat to get here!

This perfume is beautiful! I don't know how it compares to YSL's Black Opium, since I've never smelled it, but I usually enjoy deep, warm scents. This scent starts off wonderful and light, but really deepens as you wear it. It really sinks into your skin throughout the day. If you're looking for a scent that sticks close to the skin, this is perfect. Also, the vanilla isn't too heavy! I was worried that the vanilla&coffee would dominate the scent, but they are the perfect strength.

Loved it! Lasts pretty long and I always get asked what Im wearing. I can't wait to try more scents I bought 2 bottles in total of different scents and lasted me about 6 months my boyfriend always tells me how good it smells will be purchasing again!

They used to call it "Floriental Vanilla" when I ordered it back in June 2021. Regardless of the name now, this scent is exactly like YSL Black Opium. You can apply liberally as the price is awesome. I love the classy packaging and bottle of Dossier products. I have purchased 8 products since 2021. When you're addicted to perfume, Dossier is the way to go!

If you like vanilla this is definitely for you. I loved the other two I got this particular one was just a little too sweet for me. Does last all day and smells like warm vanilla. Still recommend just not for me. Looking forward to trying more scents.

I want sure about this on first spray but omg, it definitely gives off rich single aunty vibes and I love it. I'm not rich or single but this perfume makes me feel like it. I've never smelled the original black opium but this is a fabulous scent and not irritating to the nose.

YSL is king, dont get me wrong. But this one is an EXACT dupe both in the bottle and on the skin. The scent is long lasting even after a long night out and I can still smell it on my skin the next day. Highly recommend this scent for an affordable dupe of black opium. Will definitely be purchasing this one again and again!! My husband has no idea its not the real thing and he says this is his favorite perfume that I wear.

I had a sample of Black Opium which I liked and held onto before making my first purchase with Dossier. I wanted to be able to compare the two once it arrived. You can hardly tell the difference! I even took both the sample and Ambery Vanilla to work with me the next day for my co-worker to test it and make sure it wasn't just me! She loved it. I have been wearing it for a couple of weeks and I have to say, it lasts quite a while. In the past, I didn't have much faith in affordable perfumes being able to hold their scent throughout the day but this does. I will certainly be recommending Dossier to friends and family - and strangers - going forward and will be repurchasing when the time comes.
