I had gastric bypass surgery a little over 6 months ago, so my meal options are still pretty limited at this stage. Plus, the portion sizes I can eat are extremely small now. Most frozen meals portion sizes are huge, or the macros don't work for what I need for my diet. However, I found this in my local Walmart and not only were the macros fantastic, but the portion size was reasonable as well. Taste was great. It's been over 6 months since I've been able to taste alfredo, and this completely satisfied my 6 month craving for it

The taste was good, a little bland but not as much as other microwave meals. For some reason when I grabbed this I assumed there would be pasta. My own fault, but every other chicken broccoli Alfredo meal I have had from other brands has pasta so it didn't even occur to me this was a possibility. Will definitely be willing to try again but will add my own noodles for sure!

Been in love with this meal for years now. Some improvements could be made on the sauce... it's just quite watery after the steaming process. I would much rather a thicker sauce even if it's a bit more sparse. However, everything else is perfect. Great portion of chicken and broccoli, extremely convenient, tastes good, and the macros are unbeatable. This is the perfect lunch esp if you work in an office or something. Pull it out of the freezer and pop it in the microwave and you're all set for a good portion of fiber and nearly 30 grams of protein. For just under 200 calories, you can't beat that without cooking for yourself. If you're watching carbs in any sense at all, this is perfect. You're either saving carbs for later, or keeping them low in general.

I absolutely love this one. It is so macro friendly. This meal alone helps me refuel my body after an intense HIIT workout, because of how high in protein and low in carb it is. Makes it easier to plan out the rest of my meals for the day. This product has helped me lose so much weight and gain muscle! Thanks!

I don’t usually eat Frozen dinners but this pandemic year, my shopping has changed. So I tried the chicken and broccoli in Alfredo sauce. I found that it was very tasty, however, a bit too much salt for a “healthy choice”. Go with less salt to make it more healthful, that’s easy enough for someone to add. I thought the setup of a dish inside a dish for cooking purposes was very clever, but can you please work on using more earth friendly, biodegradable materials? Otherwise excellent meal.

This was enjoyable. Quick to cook, clean ingredients, and tasted good. I like the steamer basket setup, and being able to use the amount of sauce I choose. Only question is whether these steamer can be considered gluten free if they do not list any gluten containing ingredients, or is there cross-contamination?

Need to lose the COVID 15 so I purchased this meal - not the same as I remembered from years past. The alfredo sauce was pretty tasteless - didn't get that punch of salty Parmesan taste even though there is 600 mg of sodium in the dish. Chicken - rubbery and bland.

I was skeptical about this one. I wasn't sure if it would good or not but I'm so glad I got this one! It was absolutely delicious! This has definitely earned a spot in my weekly rotation of meals for work. I can't wait to try other simply steamer meals. It's refreshing to have a meal that tastes delicious and is better for you than some many other brands of frozen meals.

First, I thought the food was excellent. The broccoli was tender as was the chicken, and there was plenty of sauce (although it was a little too watery) The problem with this product is the packaging. You get a fairly thick plastic bowl on top of which sits a steamer basket made of the same plastic. I'm not sure if it is recyclable, but I don't have access to such facilities where I live, and it just seems to be very excessive. After I get through the other varieties of Simply Steamers I purchased, I won't be buying more. Very disappointing because it was a very good and healthy meal.

Yummie, Filling, Affordable, Low Net Carbs! The Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo has 4 netcarbs & the Chicken Pesto & Veggies has 5 net carbs. I add extra cheeses and bacon to make it even better with no added carbs. My only complaint is that they are so good everyone is buying them. I have to run around town to find a store that will have them, when I find them I buy the entire stock, selfish I know but darn they are that good. Maybe Healthy Choice could make a few other options that are low carb but use beef or pork in place of chicken?
