So my daughter gets this as an occasional treat to have if I have extra money, I once put it in her stocking (lol) for Christmas. These aren't exactly healthy but the days when my daughter knows I can't move due to a yet to be diagnosed auto-immune disease (I have signs), she will help me out by making something like this for herself and then helping her younger brothers so I can rest for a few hours, these come in handy. They are also a bit pricey, so that's why I don't buy them even once a month.

If it was jsut taste I would give this a 5 star rating. However the texture of the noodle is good but not great. It is better than top ramen but not as good as a buldak style ramen. This ramen is however packed with an incredible broth that is among the top broths you are going to get in an instant ramen.

Ooooow. This. Is. SPICY. I generally cook this in a medium pot with lots of water for exactly 4 minutes, adding the vegetable packet one minute before it’s done. I then dump the spice packet in a bowl and drain the noodles, preserving just a little bit of the water the noodles were cooked in. Then I have the perfect spicy noodles!

Rich and spicy broth (if you dont use too much water) good quality noodles, nice dried veggies such as mushrooms and even a few pieces of dried meat. But i add a few frozen meat gyoza/dumplings and its perfection! At first it was too spicy for me but i kept eating these ramen packs because of the rich flavor and decent quality noodles, and eventually i got used to the spicyness. Now i actually like the extra kick/heat. Maruchan used to be my go to (still eat it from time to time) but now i love this Shin ramen!! Great option when i dont have time to cook.

Spicy, delicious ramen! A nice surprise to find they were even more spicy than I was expecting. These are very delicious.

These noodles have some spice to them but they are good! I add shrimp and sautéed onions to mines and they are so delicious!!
