Silent but is the same as a real ball

Started out great. Loved that I didn't have to hear the ball bouncing all around the house. However, not long after purchasing it started leaving orange foam pieces EVERYWHERE.

The ball is quiet and bounces like my kids wanted however, I have orange flakes of foam all over the house after less than 3 weeks of regular, proper use.
