The battery pack is not sold with the unit as noted on the box exterior. You can purchase them in any big box store.

Good morning Brandi and thank you for posting your review. Please take note, this canopy is meant as a sun shelter and should not be used in any type of inclement weather, this includes rain. There should have been an insert in the box with your paperwork when the canopy was purchased called Proper Use. On this insert it indicates not to use this product in the rain as the water will pool in the fabric top creating stress on the frame causing canopy failure .
