I stopped in Sam's to get a room sized AC but they were out of the one I went for. I saw these Lasko fans for +/- $85 w/ tax. I'm staying in a mobile home with blinky AC. I'm tired of buying $29 - 39 fans every year that blow hot air sparingly. I bought one Lasko that day and ordered another one that night. Nice cold air, powerful enough to do some good.

Excellent value for the price.. Powerful air flow and extremely quiet. Love the pivoting adjustment.. use the unit to increase air flow in the family room, working in conjunction with my AC unit to keep the room cool without running the AC continuously all day.

Great fan for our Husky in her kennel at night. It gives her plenty of air to stay cool without being obnoxiously loud. Being low to the ground is the perfect height for her and is compact enough to not be in the way (we keep it outside of her kennel, blowing in). She seems happy & content with it.

I got this for our garage and pool deck, just to push air through so those areas wouldn’t be stagnant. Ended up using it inside as well! This fan with its multiple features and settings is where it’s at. Even the kids and dogs love it. Standing in front of it and hogging all the amazing air flow!

Money saver! We use this fan to circulate air from our open game room to the great room below. It helps even out the temps in the house and circulate air. We have this fan on a timer and it comes on during the hottest part of the day. We feel the moving air all over and the electric bills have been reduced.

Works great. Pushes a lot of air quietly and that's just at the low setting. The 2 higher settings are super powerful! The 2 outlets on the side are useful as well. I did get one that when I opened the box I heard some rattling and realized it had some broken pieces of plastic inside of it but I was able to return it and get a different one no problem. I bought a second one recently because I liked my first one so much

Bought two Lasko Max Performance utility fans, one for screened patio, another for kitchen while baking. I can relax on my patio and enjoy my hobbies and crafts, my fan keeps the area extremely cool. No more sweating in kitchen while baking, fan is awesome.

It really does push a lot of air, but it emits a high-pitched whine that is quite annoying. At low speed. At higher speeds, it's just too loud. It is not too loud for a garage fan, but I wanted it for my lanai to push some air around while sitting outside.

This is the fan to buy if you tried all other fans! Our AC went out in the house. It was 106 outside and 96 inside. We had to wait for a week to have it fixed. In the meantime, I was dying in the heat. We have ceiling fans in every home and an extra floor fan as well. Nothing was cutting it. My husband brought this home for me. It was our salvation! 3 settings and a direct constant blast of cool air. It is light enough to carry it from room to room. We were able make it through the horrible week because of this fan. Unfortunately towards the end of the week, the fan just stopped working. No idea why. We checked everything including the circuit breakers. Everything was fine except the fan would not turn on. We took it back to the store and replaced it. It has worked great since then.

Not sure if I was just unlucky but the noise it produced wasn't a regular loud fan noise. It was clinky, it was new but sound like a 10yrld fan that once was good. Also purchased the smaller all black model, and honestly, the air both pushed aren't too far off from each other, big one product just a tad bit more but the smaller one had a normal constant fan noise at each 3 levels. Going to get another small one and send this one back. Also, the design of the fan on the website doesn't match what you'll be getting. Same fans but they actually send you the newest one that's just really a design change, nothing more.
