The front ball bearing on the motor seized causing it to overheat and blow a non-replaceable fuse on the windings. The ball bearings are actually standard 8x22x7mm "skateboard" bearings which can be purchased cheaply enough, but that's no help since the bearing failed while the fan was unattended. Now, it's garbage.

Best Fan ever!

I just recently bought this fan a few days ago and exchanged for a new one because I thought it was faulty. The fan started to have a burning smell to it after an hour. After returning the first and getting a new one, the same thing happened. I'm going to return and get my money back. After reading reviews, I noticed this had been an issue for quite some time with Lasko and this specific product. I am just very disappointed and will never buy this product again.

This fan sure does help with cooling the RV....but it just hit me the other day, that it might be a problem to clean it....we shall see.

I purchased a similar unit last year, due to this year’s weather, I needed another. Great item, powerful and durable.

Great product. Moves lots of air and is fairly quiet. Also like the additional power outlets on the side of the unit.

This Fan is the best I live in Las Vegas the temperature has been horrible110° and 115ﾟ This fan is like a Mini air conditioner put it in a room and in 15 minutes it's cool all I can say is you better buy 1
