I've been using various editions of TurboTax Desktop for around 30 years. I'm both very comfortable using it and confident with the results. The interface is great, allowing for both guided and direct updates. The ability to download forms directly into TT is fantastic. eFiling has never been an issue. I've use TT for both business and personal taxes, and I've filed returns in PA, NY, and NC. The product just works.

Was really disappointed in abrupt removal of the charitable donation estimation tool that I have relied on for years. In addition, I remain frustrated with the flow of walk-me-through for college costs and associated 529 withdrawals. Its very confusing. Final point is tax help--- i ended up using ChatGPT for research on specific topics. So much easier than the Intuit resources.

I don't like that it asks you every time you start up TurboTax if you want to use the online version or continue on the desktop. I realize there's a Do not show on this notice, but it's unclear whether that will permanently switch you to the online version, which I don't want, or remember your decision to stay on the desktop version. If it didn't have online as the default and instead, gave you the option of going to the online version, if you want to, then I'd feel more comfortable not showing the notice again.

Everything good except a glitch on this item below. "Dependent Wks form is complete and filled out, associated Student Wk form is filled out and has dependent specified as a student for 2025 - High School (Secondary). People Wk for dependent has blank TP/SP Link that will not populate. Form flags this as an error, if you try to efile your return it requests that you fix this error before filing. If you try to bypass the error and efile anyway it will not let you."

The program was not as user friendly as it has been in the past. I had difficulty selecting the right options when I was working on the 1099-Rs. I am also concerned about the accuracy of the federal information transferred to the state tax programs. I had one business property sale loss in the state of Georgia; otherwise all my income and other deductions were applicable to North Carolina. After reviewing those state forms I have no idea if those have been handled properly. I finally decided to trust the programs.

I have been using it for many years, I am confident it does its job. You had a happy customer, but don't increase the license fee. I bought Premier copy of Turbotax this year, but it turns out to Deluxe version on my Mac. Support Center cannot find out why..

This is the easiest way to get our tax return done. Was also able to do both adult children with simple returns and a state return under the same Turbo Tax account. I used an incorrect ID number when filing and Turbo Tax immediately let me know the return was rejected and what the issue was. Very nice to use year after year and retain the historical information and not have to retype everything in.

I hate the 2025 version of Turbo Tax. What used to be easy to navigate is now near impossible. Even the simple process of starting a new return requires multiple steps, not the single key stroke from previous versions. Also the program is directed at selling additional (typically useless) added services to Intuit or paid advertisers. Again, I will seriously look for a new service next year.

this was extremely easy software to use, the interface was clean and understandable. The general support answered all my questions. There wasnt any feature or functionality that was missing from what I needed in my return. I run on windows and it was 100% compatible which is nice. I am sure the accuracy will be fantastic.

Step by Step has become more confusing in recent years. Want to be able to return to specific step instead of being required to go through dozen pages or more in order to review or correct. Explanations are hard to follow. Uploading information directly from banks and brokerage accounts is too complicated and fewer banks [e.g. Mechanics] are listed. Have been able to upload from Bank America in past; this year all efforts to do so froze and I had to enter information manually.
