The tax software is complete. I usually have some difficulty entering the K-1 forms as yhou always force me to make an entry for code AE manually. I always have to search your help section or on-line blogs to find the answer. Would help if this we handled electronically. Also K-1 for Limited partnership is difficult and Turbo Tax only provides limited help. Otherwise I really like the software and how it flows and help make sure all areas are visited.

Satisfied with the tax preparatory software, but severely disgruntled with the underhanded shady nature of Turbotax. I received a credit for buying the software through a cost club, but the Turbotax software CONSISTENTLY tries to push me into using Turbotax Online, which Turbotax's ToS directly state will negate any credits received through cost club purchases. This is an incredibly predatory practice, as the software mentions multiple times that it would be more efficient to operate through Turbotax Online. Shame on Intuit.

This year had trouble with inputs of energy efficiency improvements claim credit. Turbo tax couldn't efile the taxes due to an error Had to delete the entry in order to efile loosing $600 credits. Also on the State efile (Alabama) I was keep getting an error on non resident form (I've been filing the same way every year). Tried multiple times until finally got through. Not sure will use turbotax next year for 2026 taxes

I had difficulty loading it onto my computer because the software was initially loaded onto my sister's computer. The solution was simple although I did not know it at the time. A customer service representative named Chris saved the day. It just required high-lighting the box with the code and clicking on it. So simple, but there were no instructions for downloading it when initially downloaded on another computer. I would suggest incorporating directions to instruct someone how to do this. It drove me crazy trying to figure it out myself and wasted ALOT of time.

I had a little trouble with the program not putting my wife's RMD info in correctly. It kept showing it as an early withdrawal from her IRA, which was not true. I had to go back in twice to fix it. If I didn't fix it, we were going to owe 25% tax on the RMD. Otherwise it worked out and I will continue to use the software.

This product is the worst iteration of Turbo Tax yet. I've used Turbo Tax for over 25 years, only occasionally trying other software. "Learn more" buttons don't work. No option not to download updates every time it opens (I prefer to download when I'm nearly done inputting). Sometimes opens assuming you want to start a new return, vs. what you've been using. And finally numerous ads to buy professional advice, which I don't need for my simple return.

* After update, says "Continue using Turbotax" click that but half of the time, it doesn't restart. * Updater Preferences window is HUGE and can't be resized, can't see the OK button at the bottom. * There are two Import Financial Institutions both names Charles Schwab & Co., Inc (one has a period at the end and the other doesn't). * You ask me "Did <you> make any nondeductible IRA contributions to your traditional IRA in prior years?" YOU KNOW if I answered Yes to this in my prior tax return, in that case you shouldn't be asking me again, or at least you should prepopulate the correct answer if it was previously Yes in a prior year, or give me a different more intelligent prompt like "We see last year you had nondeductible IRA contributions, would you like to work on this now?" * Need to pop-up/use web browser to IMPORT data and give it some weird permission, very odd and uncomfortable, not happy this couldn't be done all within the TurboTax software like it was in all prior years. * Near the end of "Installing Updates," The progress number goes to some wacky value like "-684562%, >45 minutes" for a few seconds. * Saved my work and exited, when I came back it did not remember where I left off, it brought me back to the complete beginning. * You asked about my spouses nondeductible prior year IRA contributions, and her account value (from form 5498), but not about mine. * You have a screen that says "Let's enter <your> HSA contributions in 2024" and all the numbers are zero, you imported my 2024 return so you should have prepopulated this with the correct info, not have me dig through my old return which you already imported. * Sometimes you prepopulate a Zero ($0) in a field, then when I click into that field and start typing, you don't erase the zero, so my entry shows up with a leading zero, it probably doesn't matter but it just shows how careless your programming and testing has become. * When starting the Deductions section, I chose "Walk me through everything" and then it tells me "We've covered 2 of 10 sections, select Next to continue" - Um, no you didn't cover any sections yet, why did you skip the first two?

Frustrating in several places this year (tax year 2025). Import from our investments (Chase) was delayed at least partially because the software was not ready at first to accept the files. - Updates seemed not to get around to having this work until some time later. - The instructions were not always clear and their lack or paucity caused confusion and anxiety.

Turbo Tax is NOT easy. Program asks the user questions it should know by information already entered: Why is Medicare wages higher then state? Going through Pa State program, The step by step doesn't show the program transferred the union dues to the state as a deduction. Had to switch to form view to confirm. The same for prorating tax exempt dividends.

Always use TT each year. Tried the tax advisor options this year and wasn't thrilled. Several attempts to have my taxes reviewed were either unsuccessful or when I did get an agent on his support wasn't any better than what I could and did myself. Also there was some issues with the PA tax download that was misidentifying and this calculating in error that had to be worked around. First time I have really had any issues with TT and wil still us it next year.
