For the first few days or so it is more firm and hard but after that it’s super soft and perfect for a good nights rest.

I love that it is soft and comfy except for when it gets cold then it's hard and solid ( have one in car for back support while driving).

Exactly as pictured and described. my kids find them comfortable. The only negative is that the pillow protector is very "slippery" so it kept sliding out of my kids' pillowcases. just replaced that and it's fine now.
